The xenos being super numerous, charging straight at you, being bullet sponges and their blood not being acid just makes me even more disappointed that this game wasn't developped to take place in the Starship Troopers universe.

As much as I despise Shadowlands for some of its terribly flawed ideas, they did bring back some elite areas in every zone, and the World Quests there require groups, but the problem is that it's all done through the faceless LFG tool and it's quick and done in 2 minutes without anyone speaking...

In a way they had a better formula back in vanilla where some of the outside world had elite areas that required groups to be able to quest there. It made some of the world feel more dangerous and that was pretty cool I thought.
