Split faction is just plain stupid. It doubles the workload for content generation unless you continually rejigger reasons why the two opposing sides are hanging out in the same place doing the same thing but still mortal enemies.

The CGI effects and especially makeup is just not good. Farscape was over 10 years ago and looks much much better...hopefully they sort their shit out after the pilot.
