Really glad my weapon went to +15 today. Another 3 pieces to get +15 before I can go to T3. Seeing Asmongold getting his viewers to give him mats to upgrade T3 stuff made me realize I wont get a high item level there in quite some time. So many resources, will take ages.

Awesome just failed 4 upgrades today as well. So zero progress to get into T3. Only 1 piece upgraded to 15 so far. Too lazy to handle alts so thats the reality right now. Guess I'll dust off the other quests I have and collections for a bit.

Got a bit of rage worked up as I failed the Weapon +15 4 times in a row and ran out of Red Shards... mega salty as I even used the +chance gems also. So far only got one piece to 15, will probably take another week or two to get T3.

How does the tripods on gear work in t3? Is it to free skill points into other skills? Or some other reason?

Seems I missed the Abyss Dungeon quest line so will need to run it again next week. Thought it was wierd it had a story with a NPC I had not talked to yet. Is it mainly to unlock rapport with her?

Got the T2 Abyss down today. 3 wipes on the last boss then he went down. Seems most fail groups are when people cant do the stagger mechanic.

I tend to quit all the MMO's once I hit max level and have done the dungeons and easy mode raids. I love FFXIV but once I finished MSQ and did the raids I just stopped logging in. I can see myself quitting once I hit Tier 3 and the gear wall. But will see how it ends, maybe I continue doing...

Got through all the Tier 2 Abyss dungeons but got stuck not being able to kill Alric. Mostly due to bad party composition due to the matchmaking.

The last boss in the first 8 man dungeon was pure cancer as a sorceress.

How hard are the last 3 Abyss Raids in Tier 2? Pugable or will I lose my mind? Will probably not need the armor from it as I'm 1060 item level and don't really need better gear, but would be nice for materials.

Finally got a Boss Rush ticket and did it for a weekly quest. But I cant complete the quest. Theres only abandon even if it says its completed.

I saw the whales on twitch spending 8k (from their mouth) to get to +15 tier 3 (I think). Here I am contemplating spending 40 bucks on a gem box...

I see everyone raving about alts feeding the main, but playing my main is taking all the time i can spare as there's so much shit to do. So I'm not going to bother unless my main have nothing to do all of a sudden, then I can try get an alt to tier 2. Tldr I'm too old to be min maxing to save...

I feel the tier 2 guardians and abyss are easier than tier 1. But maybe it's due to filtering out the terribads from t1. I still get mvp in most fights with dmg done and stagger thing.

Are levels beyond 50 just for skill points or does it have some other purpose as well?

So once you've done the "catch up" islands each tier whats are you all doing for mats? Is it just chaos dungeons and guardians?

Followed the Island guide for Tier 2 and got up to 1020 (+11) and now I'm all out of materials. Will take a while to get the last +4.

I believed I was a nerd but I went to a neighbor city this week to check out a warhammer/paint store. They had a room with like 5 tables for battles and a painting section. Filled with Uber nerds discussing various units and lore. They took my nerdiness down to 5/10 while they were 10/10 or...

Saw a YouTuber mentioned only 3% have reached Yorn. So maybe later stages weed out the terrible players? On the flip side that probably means I'm the weakest link in party's going forwards..... Not sure where he got that info.

Got the red fox down finally. Like 3 min left on timer in a 4 man grp. I did like 52% of the dmg and I suck at the game...

Yea I try to not feel stressed to do everything daily/weekly to not burn out right away. Taking my time and being really ineffective compared to others. I did get ilvl 600 just now. Thank god the weapon succeded at 40% and only had a few failures on the armor pieces.

Feels wierd they list Boss Rush in the Weekly quest tab but not being able to do that until Tier 2 but lists Tier 1 mats.

Getting health pots seems like a shitty chore if I did not miss something. Farm tons of herbs and shit. Craft with Gold that I have almost 0 of.... yea not sure how to get better than green pots for raids because I'm broke. Edit: Also, how fucking bad are people at Guardians? I could not...

I did a lot of islands and got a bunch of coin chests. Ended up converting all of them to pirate coins. Now I see many of the coins are needed for skill potions etc. Will there be plenty more of those chest or a way to get the currency?

Finally got the Hildebrand down. 3 mages in the group and we had issues with the stagger. Then failed a lot with the light. Was a cool group and everyone was super chilled and progressed with no complaints. Took like 2 hours. :p I got the enraged nature leg piece, should be able to dismantle...

Got the "Hall of the twisted warlord" down just now. Pug'ed it but everyone knew the basic strats. Wiped three times on the last boss but then down he went. Hope the next one goes as smooth but need to check a guide first.

I'm not looking forward to Pugging the last 2 Abyssals in Tier 1. But I could go to Tier 2 anyway right? As long as I get 600 item level the Legendary set isnt really needed?

Can you replenish potions during a Guardian fight or is the charges you start with and thats it?

Red Fox Guardian sucks ass... I know you should get buffs from fire but we arent even close to killing it. Edit: Failed at 1%. But too late to continue this.

Got to 560 item level today. I guess the failure honings start now...
