Its not super complicate. the two melee dps trees are battle rage and shadowplay. and about 90% of melee builds will take both. You then mix it up with witch, defense, or aura. there is also the daggerspell, which is sorc, shadow, witch. Your typical burst dps softy.

GMP is a quest reward. GMp+lmp do work together, its just the damage penalty is so much, its pretty much never worth doing.

If you do lmp+gmp, and tora's rank 8 "projectiles return to you", will all 21 projectiles return to you in a shotgun? lmp+gmp+fork projectile return?

yeah. the life leech as well from blood rage makes the degen a nonissue. only between large distances between packs, a pot to keep topped off. I had 4% regen at one point, but removed it, as life regen just was not needed I felt. the leech was more then enough. do note blood rage's chaos...
