Gearscore was a truly idiotic measurement of experience. Raider.io is a fairly accurate representation. If people can't get into groups because their current io score is too low they should be making their own groups to build it up. It's not like they don't have their own keystones.

It's probably based on something idiotic like average ilvl of your current azerite pieces. Or neck level. Or some combination of that which ignores all your other slots completely. Also, Blizzard doesn't do any of this loot drought RNG bullshit because of any complaints of the "hardcore"...

Yes, the reward ilvl is dynamic. If you raise your personal ilvl enough before it disappears it will upgrade.

People have liked every wow expansion at release. The leveling experience and initial dungeon rush is pretty much always a good time. Then the veil gets pulled back and we remember that Blizzard thinks scarcity for the sake of scarcity is good for the game and that RNG is exciting and interesting.
