yeah. the "islands"/server look smaller then I expected. And then claims in relation to draw distance, if you want a castle surrounded by forest. looks like you will need several claims to ensure space around you.

the only real advantage xbows and bows could in theory have, is they focus on 1 stat, and 1 skill tree. Which is also, kindof why it falls behind. xbows and bow vs 1 handed weapons might be reasonably balanced. but vs 2h or DW, which are getting dagger+dw, or sword+dw, sword+2h, or axe+dw...

im not even entirely sure he did the castle? he didnt say den, lighthouse AND castle. so, if pyros answer didnt tell you what to do, go back and talk to the captain in the garrisonm, that sent you to spider cave, lighthouse, etc in the first place.

yeah. dont focus entirely on perception. ranged attacks aren't that great as noted. 50% damage in melee. Melee tends to be much better due to doubling up on skills. duel wield or 2 hander. So like your ranger can GM dagger. and then also master dw. yeah. thats going to deal way more...
