Back in the day you couldn't transfer from a PvE server to a PvP server. You could do the reverse or go from PvP to PvP but no bluebie to red shenanigans. I would expect them to keep that.

It's really easy to cast more spells than you need to as a Shaman and doing so will really slow you down. They're pretty efficient if you can keep yourself from mashing shocks on cooldown.
