I've been on the fence with PSTH, I was hoping with the long delay in news they'd dip below 25 and almost even had my 25 put assigned on the 18th, but since then they've steadily climbed up over 26

This is probably why I jumped so quickly into the spac game. My normal plays for the last two months were losing their premium or were losing my confidence. I had weekly puts on PINS/AMD that I haven't rolled up. I also didn't like how the vaccine news caused a "shift to value!" trend that...

Got assigned SNAP from last weeks put at 51$. It dipped down to 48 yesterday but back up to 51 in early market after Goldman Sachs gives them a price target of 70$, thanks Goldman! I was aiming to sell them once they bounced back up but I'm thinking I'll hold now until their next earnings on 2/2/21.

Looks like I was right so far about IPV, they're mirroring VLDR and LAZR almost to the T in gains and losses. Will be interesting to see closer to the merger date.

Yep, Contrafund has an expense ratio of 0.85 while the SP fund has an expense ratio of .015. It may not seem like much, but in the world of annual compounding returns even 0.1% can make a world of difference over a few decades.

Gik looks like it's on a dip, I like it enough I'll buy in tomorrow. Most EV players are jumping but most of them are still in prototype phase where as gik is buying someone already producing.

BTWN, BFT, and GHIV all up almost 10% premarket. I think these all have too much hype too close to their mergers to think there'll be a dip before mergers in late january. Still holding all 3.

Yeah it's a bit higher than some of the more established ETFS like SPY, but if they keep the same growth it's still worth the extra expense. Can always bail when the growth tapers off.

so ARKG came up on my radar, they're an ETF that specializes in genome technology, research, etc. They're up about 200% YTD and genome technology is being hyped as the next FANG. I'll be throwing some money in today or selling some puts depending on the premiums.

So this works out for several reasons: 1. Interest rates are at historic lows and will be for awhile. It'd be one thing if we were talking about mortgages at 5-6% but I got my last two mortgages at 3.75% and after one year refinanced my current one down to 2.75%. At that point there's no reason...

I'm not a fan of 20% down, keeping 10% or more of the houses value in index funds should easily eclipse what you pay in PMI

Its hasn't had any large downward movement yet, so you might be able to get away with setting a trailing stop loss at 10%. Everything is out the window on that if it goes parabolic though.

Setting up automatically to sell at 15 is just a regular limit order. If it goes over 15 dollars and you set it as a "stop limit" for 15, if it continues to go up, you don't sell and can get more profit, but if it goes back down to 15, it will sell automatically for 15
