Actually, it's CMS.

Although I think they said it's a 10 year contract.
Yeah, that's them. I guess a better question is, what is it like working for a company like that (a large consulting firm). I'm currently with a mega corporation, but we're a tiny, tiny division that was bought a couple years back. So we still feel like a small development shop. Also our...
This is a shot in the dark but...
Anyone have any experience with CGI Federal? I've been offered a remote Angular front-end development job (not a contract job) that pays significantly more than what I'm currently earning. Interviews went fine obviously but I did notice like all the people I...
So there have now been two incidents where some jack ass opens up a window at night and people get slaughtered. So that begs the question, WHY ARE THERE STILL WINDOWS??
Seems like the writers are "smart" enough to realize there would be a plot hole in regard to electrical power. At the start of the series, I immediately started wondering how does this town still receive power (and supplies)?
I love how Coinbase takes no responsibility. Just 'too bad too sad'.
EDIT: I wasn't sim swapped and I definitely wasn't phished. I'm pretty tech savvy and don't go around clicking on links or installing random software that might have spyware.
WALT!!!!!!!
I've been watching it. It's kept me entertained, but the trope of trying to leave a place only to mysteriously circle back around has been done to death.
I HATE Agnes. What a terribly unlikeable character. Even more so than the rest of the cast.
Second episode was only bearable. Starting to go down the shitter fast. Hilarious that it only took racism to defeat the Borg.
Of all the Souls games I never played a caster. Only melee with a big ass shield. A friend, who has never played a Souls game, picked up Elden Ring and is insisting on playing a caster. My feeling is that casters are playing the game on hard(er) mode. Am I correct?
Yeah, this. I've played all the Souls games so I'm very familiar with poise and stamina. I'll have full stamina, yet a boss's physical attack will sometimes land hard. It feels like they are hitting around or over/under the shield. Things happen so quickly it's hard to exactly see.
Also...
I feel like some enemies (namely bosses) are hitting through my shield. Is it due to a special non-blockable attack or are they hitting OVER or UNDER my shield? Just wondering if switching to a big ass tower shield would make a difference there.
Not at the time, but I do now. I have Google Authenticator set for everything. Regardless, if the user had attempted to log into my account through normal means an email would have been sent to me informing me that access was being attempted from a unknown IP address as well as a SMS text...
I've been with them for over 2 years and never had a problem either. May just be a matter of time? Or some recent vulnerability has cropped up. I'm wondering if that log4j issue could be a vector of attack? I see Vmware posted a critical security warning regarding that.
A word of caution to those who have Coinbase accounts: I am fairly certain these guys have some kind of security hole in their system. As some may recall, I had my entire Coinbase assets sold and transferred out of my account without my approval. I had two-factor authentication setup for both...
Just began a new project working on something totally alien to me. It's a customized GL.iNet MiFi device (a 4G LTE to WiFi router type thingy). These run a custom OpenWRT O/S. Up to this point there has only been one developer (the creator) working on it. It's using LUA as it's scripting...
