Holy Water, to me, is a win more/greed card. I'd say it's worse than Embrace Darkness even. 4 damage for 5 is horrendous. To "draw" a big minion you need board presence to get target within kill range You don't "steal", and need to expend a turn playing the tirion/rin/whatever 5 mana is...

    Hearthstone

Holy Water: Weak, tempo loss, unplayable. Spectral Cutlass: Why play this over Kingsbane? Bogshaper: Can be amazing. Shaman need card draw. This can provide it. Only draws minions, which is nice, but prevents chaining draws if you lack many spells in hand. But minions are necessary in this...

Gorehowl CAN still see play in a Control list, but you wouldn't run 2 copies. So the chances you draw the AoE before Gorehowl is risky. And if you have no other weapons, you have a dead card, so you NEED other weapons, and every other weapon is 2-3 attack except for Arcanites, which won't be in...

My 2 most played heroes are reaper and mei. Sounds great to me!

    Hearthstone

Counters Echo Cards & Rogue. Its interesting. I don't think it'll see too much play, it probably doesn't trigger against most mid-range/slow decks.

    Hearthstone

Problem with Cauldron is the RNG of it. Shaman have a lot of dead spells too, like Totemic Might. And it has 0 attack, whereas you could play Cult Master to cycle through a deck you've already built with good cards. You're right of all aggro decks maybe Paladin would try it, since they can...

    Hearthstone

Really good removal card. Will see a lot of play. Hunter seem to be getting a lot of decent cards... most are very good removal cards, which is something Hunter has been notoriously weak at. They get: 1 cost minions get poisonous echo+rush doggie your other minions have Rush And this card 4...

    Hearthstone

Duskfallen: Uhhh, hmmm..... Against Aggro it seems fine, against Control it's opening up a free Tirion or 10 mana spell/minion + something else. But Druid is the class that can abuse this most, so if it stays up a turn you get a free UI or big minion/Hadronox/etc. Cauldron: fun card...

    Hearthstone

yea, it's looking to be pretty bad. Maybe good in Arena. Warriors don't even run Gorehowl anymore, and they get free weapons from DK/Quest now, it's just so hard to make this work, and isn't a reason to try and make it work.

    Hearthstone

I like this card... has combo potential. It can be really good in a tailored deck. I'm looking forward to trying more Hadronox decks. Synergy with above card, and Hadronox. Really strong card. Edit: I thought this was a Druid card at first... even more insane it's neutral. Wow. Super...

    Hearthstone

Duskhaven... coin out 5/2 stealth turn 2, what...... but if you hold it opening hand, without coin, can't get the 5/2 in play till turn 4. Definitely a high roll cancer card, can't see it played elsewhere Toxmonger: If quest hunter and quest paladin become a thing... lol.

    Hearthstone

    That's a crazy card.

    Hearthstone

I was close to adding it, but then I'd have to add Mastadon and Ultrasaur, I was mainly looking at minions with effects, or large attack to health ratios. I'm not even sure the Sleepy Dragon would be worthwhile since a Ysera card is much better than a 9 mana vanilla taunt minion. No...

    Hearthstone

yea you're not going to want to load your deck with bad cards. But you might squeeze in 1 or 2 just for the chance of hitting big, or if it has an effect that's already decent. There are a lot of other cards that I excluded just because they wouldn't have as much an impact. The top 9 cards...

    Cards that are viable and would benefit from Lady in White: Grand Archivist (4/7 > 7/7) Primordial Drake (4/8 > 8/8) Corridor Creeper (2/5 > 5/5) Obsidian Statue (4/8 > 8/8) Ysera (4/12 > 12/12) Lyra (3/5 > 5/5) Auchenai (3/5 > 5/5) Tar Creeper (1/5 > 5/5 --> 7/5 on opp turn) Doomsayer (0/7 >...

    Hearthstone

Lady in White: Seems good. 12/12 ysera (and other Dragons). Need to build around her a bit and doesn't enable any shitty OTKs, just makes your big minions bigger. 8/8 Statue now, etc...Doesn't seem like she's good enough to be in every deck, which is good. Castaway: ehhhhhhhhh, maybe? 6 mana...

    Hearthstone

Gun Turret: I literally was "????" after seeing this card. Seems like it could be an Epic instead of Legendary, but it'd be a damn good Epic. It's clearly meant as a combo piece, but nothing obvious stands out right now. My question is will the effect proc if it's 1 health but immune from...

    Hearthstone

Dunno how you can hate echo, at least right now, since only 1 card in game has it atm. I actually like the Echo & Rush mechanics. Both require strategy over high-rolling or playing the bigger dude. Rush has been asked for FOREVER and echo is a very strategic mechanic.

    Hearthstone

a 1/1 is a 0 cost card. I wouldn't say eggnapper is better, necessarily. Igneous has seen play in Elemental / Quest Rogue, it's pretty good for sure. a 2/3 is infinitely more playable than a 2/1. You're right that Ravencaller is probably bad. I do think there are niche uses. And 1 drops can be...

    Hearthstone

It does let you get other class cards.. which is what i said in the text you quoted. For some reason this expansion is getting me excited again for some hearthstone, probably won't last long, but as opposed to last expansion where i didn't give a shit and didn't pre-order. I think the...

Instant reaction is : Quest Hunter Probably still a bad deck though. But what's nice is you don't need to have so many 1-drops in your quest hunter list now. Could probably nix 2-4.. instead of 15, you could run ~10 maybe. Other then that, can it be good? It has some potential in...

    Hearthstone

Darius: I think it's ok. Affects board immediately and needs to be dealt with pretty quickly. Should do well in a control/mid-range list. It has enough health to survive against many targets, and it'll grow to survive future targets. Reddit comments are really down on this card, but I think...

  29. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Hunter has Play Dead to trigger Cube but that makes it an 11 mana combo, and even with coin, you risk losing board before you can hero power. I've been toying with Odd Hunter list and the hero power cards and can't come up with anything that seems consistent, it's close though. I think the Cube...

Yea Im starting to revise my opinion on Pixie. It may not be "trash", but has some very specific niche use. Problem is while it seems great for Quest Warrior, you just can't afford to lose much for this card, can't really lose anything tbh. I can see it in Odd-Hunter list and DK Paladin, but...

Also saw on Reddit: Cube Automaton, get 2-4 Automatons as Hunter/Mage/DKWarlock/QuestWarrior/Priest = Deal 30+ damage with Hero Power. Will require some setup, but this card opens up some crazy combos
  32. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Reading the Reddits, the Automaton seems like it can have some fringe uses for sure, rest of cards really seem unplayable atm. Pixie is trash. Quest Warrior with 16 damage bombs is most intimadating, but Gul'Dan can Deal 6+Heal 12 if Automaton is dropped. But usually Gul'Dan is fine after being...

    Hearthstone

Today's reveals so far: Wanted: Seems like hot garbage, everyone already bitching about it, probably means it becomes auto-include in every deck though. But seriously, it's so much worse than Tomb Pillager. It's basically 3 damage for 3, but obviously coin has some bonus effects in...
  34. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

probably bad but it could potentially be a mill card.
  35. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

I can't imagine this being good. Too expensive. Ideally you want to put 3-4 on board for 6-8 mana... meaning it's not a terrible top-deck, but the 1 health is such a liability. You can focus down a single-target with this whereas with Hounds you can't, so there's some upside. Good job! No...

    Hearthstone

Lord Godfrey : A better Defile. Will often be a board clear with a 4/4 body remaining for 7 mana. Beats out twisting nether in most cases, especially since it can handle deathrattles. Seems auto-include when not aggrolock. Muck Hunter : I feel like any "Rush" card will be super hard to evaluate...

True, you could try shenanigans with a high attack minion, just not sure how you'd do it exactly, or consistency.
