Mariudeth is bad for frontier hunter because the scoring is all about quantity, not quality - i.e. number of hits on dead guy, number of sparks, number of weakness hits etc. There's also not very many fire guys, and a lot of earth guys, so ulkina is probably a better choice.

Hmm, picked up a Zurg - he makes for some hilarious arena team action - put him in a team with elza, breaker mariudeth, spare elza and zelnite - put lexida on mariudeth and halloween orbs on spare elza and zurg. Have not managed a round 1 kill yet - but got one team to 10% life left on one guy...

There's not enough team space to take someone for just atk buff these days. So Michele generally wins by having fire buff ( assuming there are earth mobs obviously ) - once Shida 6* is out it will be less likely either of them are ever used except against opposing element dungeons though I think.

I got 450 done before the servers shat the bed. Zero sphere frogs, 20 atk imps, 8hp imps, 17 def imps and zero rec imps. Most of the crap was jewel guys. Over 4 mil so far. Pity cash is useless now. Ulkina is much more likely to be useful than any of those guys. Main competition is altri.

It's because the units are way ahead of FH at the moment - FH8 is balanced for like Uda's batch, having zelnite's batch and maxwell is way overpowered for it. I am not sure what Gumi are going to do about that, given they obviously want to catch up to JP for code/unit releases. Maybe run FH more...

Fujin on both maxwells, zelnite and whoever else has the highest hit count/drop checks. Go Zelnite then dps guy then maxwells. Zelnite's free 8 BC from his SBB will probably mean your other two guys get full SBB and hopefully zelnite and the maxwells get BB up. Just use the maxwells with BBs on...

Three rounds for points doesn't work anyway as I found out to my sorrow - Sefia dispells all your buffs with her SBB, so trying to darvanshel your way to free points just ends up with you getting smashed. I've had the best success with the same team lineup you have above, but I am tossing up...

It's a bias against the randomness I think. If something hits hard enough that you need the debuff to survive, then 70% of the time you wipe. Assuming the fight lasts more than one round, your chance of not wiping swiftly dwindles to near zero ( getting the debuff at the right time 4x in a row...

Probably not, no. Losing Grah means your whole team is taking 15% more damage, are doing 2/3 of their potential damage and have 20% less hp/def/recovery. It's still *possible*, but RNG is such a pain in the ass in that fight already it would be a world of frustration I think.

The key part there was 'if you are using a damage up leader' i.e. 50% from dia, lodin, etc. The negative to atk from the orbs stacks additively with other atk buffs, like leader skills. If you are leading with zelnite or elza or someone then it's much more in favor of the amanohabaken.

The hell ? Your memory is playing ticks on you I think, GDI and Nod were totally different. The different style and tone were a huge part of what made it memorable - albeit it was taken to the next level by Red Alert, which I'd point out was *also* released years prior to starcraft.

4 star signas is a bit better than 4 star dilma, but he rocks her world at 6*, so levelling her up now probably is not worth a lot of effort. Faris is more debatable, she is a really good 4* and isn't useless at 6* - have to weight up single target vs multi target and the free healing I guess.
