Another factor is across the league, rushing stats are down, a lot. RB scores just aren't what they have been in years back. I'm almost starting to think in PPR you should start trying to find a 3rd WR rather than a 3rd RB as your first choice for a flex spot if the trend continues.

First: Redzone, outside of the Niners I can't even watch the NFL unless it is on Redzone anymore. I don't watch the Sunday or Monday night games specifically because of the commercials. Second: The commercials I am sick of seeing are that stupid NFL.com fantasy football one where the...

    2013 NFL Season

Yeah, the whole point of Boldin was to have someone who could win the battle for the ball against some of these NFC West corners. The Niners get absolutely destroyed by tough man coverage and Boldin was suppose to be the guy to help them beat that. Crabtree/Boldin/Davis looks to be a pretty...

FWIW The N4 isn't compatible with Verizon's network. I would wager a guess that the N5 won't either (but we will see). You may want to have a back-up plan if you plan on sticking with Verizon. Also I am pretty sure that I read they aren't producing any more N4's.

    The Beer Thread

What kind of beer? Some beers have a little yeast left in them that is suppose to be mixed up in the beer. If sitting upright for a long time that yeast can settle out. (Only thing I can think of off the top of my head). Also should note, some beers have yeast left in them that is NOT...

I must of have missed the original info request. Hopworks is one of my favorites down there. Deschutes has some really awesome looking growlers, little spendy but worth it, I am convinced they are magical and make beer taste better.

Yeah, that is really a coin-flip choice in my eyes so go with your gut. I would go with Pierce since Ridley is probably another fumble away from getting benched again.

    2013 NFL Season

Every team (or maybe it is the league) offers a 'no questions asked, no cost' ride service that is available to every player. Also the NFLPA just released an app for the players so that they could take advantage of Uber. A 49ers linebacker was just tweating about it encouraging players to take...

    Fantasy Football 2013 Advice Thread

Yeah, not pretty choices, I would rank them Hilton/Gordon/Moore/Shorts, but if Hilton doesn't go I would also look at the waiver wire. Doug Baldwin is a possible option, only owned in 15% of leagues, going against Jacksonville and has good "chemistry" with Skee Lo.

You know who else was getting a ton of targets, Anquan Boldin. Playing in a much better offense with a much better QB he managed just 1 catch for 7 yards against Seattle. I would say that *maybe* Shorts gets some catches in garbage time when Seattle puts their back-ups in like it is a...

Obstacle Course Racing (Spartan, Tough Mudder, etc)

I've done one Tough Mudder and am signed up again to do the Seattle area one this October. I had a blast the first time I did it. It was challenging but it reminded me a lot of running around in the woods as a kid. They are spendy, but TM supports the Wounded Warrior project (over $5...

    Fantasy Football 2013 Advice Thread

Yeah, my advice up there was Kaep vs Vick. Brees qualifies as one of those studs you run out there every week regardless of match-up. Between the two I would have picked Brees, has just as much upside as Vick and isn't nearly the risk to either put up a stinker or get hurt. Another reason...

    Fantasy Football 2013 Advice Thread

I'm all in for anyone playing against Philly at this point. That defense can't stop anyone right now (and no way their issues get fixed in a short week) and their offense promotes shoot-outs. Whether or not Chip Kelly's offense translates to success in the NFL, it is looking like a fantasy...

    Fantasy Football 2013 Advice Thread

Sproles is a no-brainer start in PPR this week. I think you are getting to cute on Spiller, he is your stud (most likely) first round pick, play him like one. It's not like CJ is lighting the world on fire. Chargers D has been tougher against the run than the numbers are showing.

Seattle fans are in a tissy about that, seemed like an obvious troll to me. Seahawks fans get so offended any time anyone criticize their crowd noise. I love accusing them of piping in sound, that makes them go full agro.

Cameron was available on waivers? That surprises me, try to trade whichever one of the two has a big week to strengthen your RB or WR depth, as I don't think either one of the two TE's will be that far apart at the end of the year. Also, don't thank me yet, did you see my track record for...

    Fantasy Football 2013 Advice Thread

You cannot compare point production across positions like that. Look at how the trade effects the entirety of your lineup. What kind of advantage point wise are you gaining at RB, and what kind of point advantage are you giving up at TE? And yes, I still make the deal if I have Graham (and...

Everything I am reading says Davis starts. I am all in on Cameron this season... but I also don't carry 2 TE's (you should consider this next year). Indy is ranked dead last against the TE this season, I probably start Davis if I were you. For your flex, I start Sproles. I like starting a...

That offer is still on the table and you haven't taken it...? STOP comparing the two guys, you cannot look at it like that. You have to look at it this way, is your line-up better with J. Thomas and J. Rodgers or is it better with T. Richardson and ? Also, if you are stuck with starting a...

Well, Pryor did manage to run all over that Indy defense and Kaep is playing at home, and so far KC is the top ranked D against opposing QB's. I personally don't carry a backup QB at all. Not that hard to find a serviceable starter at the QB position on the waiver wire when you are on bye and it allows you to stash some more RB/WR options.
