Money is a huge thing early on. Tomorrow is the jewel parade key so highly recommend running that. And weekends should be as many runs of the zel dungeon as you can stomach.

While not an option for everyone, if you have the alts for it and are really interested in being set once you hit 55, you can walk in and at least be properly geared. 14 PvP weapons, 14 Mk-9 Augmentation kits, and 14 Augments to go with it will do the trick. And that doesn't need the Rank 40...

For GSF the curve is fairly steep. Especially now that it's been out for eight months or so. One of the complaints of that community is specifically that the barrier of entry is pretty high. Many try it out once, get trounced by someone with a maxed out ship, and then never try it again. It's...

Dunno but I gem'd once to get three runs in and now I'm sitting on a dozen gods and two crystals. I can get 5 runs at nearly full energy of the normal parade and I guarantee I wouldn't have anywhere near the exp value of the three Supers that I ran. Granted I did gem but even without it I could...

0/5 on capture for the Prologue so far. Probably get a couple of runs in tomorrow (hope Daily is Vortex runs). You might get lucky and not meet him on the final level. That's what happened to me. You also need to complete the first tower to access the second. Not sure how much that means to you.

The real change for Makeb is the lowering of the mob density. Makeb isn't all that hard as long as you've kept up both you and your primary companion's gear. I even managed on my severely undergeared Trooper though I definitely made more use of Heroic Moment than normal.

I've spent a night here or there running everything in one fell swoop. 3-4 hours total I think. At the end I'm usually ~900k richer. Can only do that once in a while though. Makeb - Dailies + Staged Weekly + GSI run (non-weekly, takes two runs there) Black Hole - Dailies + Weekly Section X...

Market prices fluctuate so if that's what they're selling for I would jump on it. SWG free form housing was a blessing and a curse. I didn't spend a lot of time on Live servers but when I did they were always a mess of houses for as far as the eye could see. Some dailies start at ~50. Ilum...

I try not to be Devil's advocate because I certainly see some shady aspects of this but at the same time I question whether or not these prices would even be an issue if something like this had been in during release. Oddly enough people bitched just as much about the cost of guild banks and...

Ebon Hawk is a great community with pretty much all aspects of the game having life (we have our bad eggs but they're easy to spot and ignore). Ranked PvP isn't an emphasis (like art says, once rewards are announced it'll be more active) but there's nights where it occurs with some prodding. Pub...

Spent about an hour on the PTS to try out Strongholds. It's kind of cool. The hook system takes a bit to get used to, certain items only go on certain hooks and there's differentiation on hooks that's on the wall and that's on the ceiling, which makes sense. Home planets (DK, Coruscant) have an...

I think it depends on what backet and group you're in. The higher level you are, the more impossible it gets. Like, #1 in my group has something like 500k+. People found that the best stamina to VP ratio was the top level of the Estia tower and was like 875 or so for about 30 stamina. I'm sure...

I have 9m on my Assassin and like 4m in the guild bank (that's just me and the wife). I routinely do dailies just for the hell of it and a full boat of dailies/weeklies is really close to 1m for a few hours worth of playing. I know people with like 500m on a toon but they're hardcore GTN...

2.9 to PTS tomorrow. Release is 8/19. Turnaround to 2.10 is going to be fast, like three weeks. 50 million credits for the guild flagship. It's a lot but it's reasonable considering you would only need 1m each if you had 50 members and 1m is retardedly easy to make.

Miracle Totem will wreck you the first time you try it. When it does an AOE BB it counts as both Light and whatever element associated with it. So you can't mitigate the damage as with the elemental totems. It also has two AOE BBs that count as 3 elements. Shit is rough. I can routinely clear it...

Totems are about longevity when you first go at it. I think my very first run took between 15 and 20 turns and I exhausted pretty much all my items (healing item plus Seals and Ores). You got a bad run with a Dark Totem and didn't have the units to handle it, but my general rule of thumb on if...

Pre-55? An average player can do well. Concealment is good burst and as long you know your triggers you can pump out a lot of damage. Op healers are some of the best in the game, hard to kill. At 55? Being average is a recipe for pain. But don't worry, chances are you'll get paired up with 5-7...

Jesus, four healers. 2400 DPS is unrealistic except in that extreme circumstance. Full Voidstar, no death, dot class spreading damage everywhere. Plus, when you don't need to worry about watching an objective and can go full tilt, it's like Christmas for a DPS. Also +1 for Dulfy's guides...

It's difficult to gauge a punter's impact unless he flat out pooches a kick, in which case the impact is that the other team benefits.
