    Discovery gives you more of the rare stuff and the harvest is more bulk stuff per wack which is really nice for collecting bulk of things like stone and dirt when building pyramids haha.

    Kinda funny I am intentionally not really going out of my way to craft high quality tools just reasonably good ones. I don't want to get to used to turbo pick the destroyer in alpha only to have it wiped going into beta and probably for release as well.

    Yup this is pretty much what I am doing. My tungesten one is not horrible but my silvered steel one is really good so I just use the latter on everything I can and switch to tungsten as necessary.

    I believe they said they can but currently the biomes are very simple and they don't have water/lava/or transpariencies active.

    The install itself is small but keep an eye on the cache. It is not super aggressive about clearing the cache out so if you just butterfly from one map to another and one world to another it can bloat up a bit. My install size hovers around 19GB with the cache and install.

    Copper usually ends with tin but can end with tier one gems rarely. If you see tin you won't get the gems from that node.

    Yup the tier 4 gems are going to be an issue until tier 4 areas go in. Its like mining for tier 3 stuff in a tier 2 zone you can find it but the rare stuff is a PITA to locate and there is not much of it when you find it.

    You have to use the build tools in the main part of your claim. You cannot use your pick or axe inside the heart of your claim only the boundry areas.

    One thing I know helps is if you wear two of the founder + crafting bracelets seems to at least skew the odds in your favor. Some theories using a higher level forge helps too but gathering the wood for these things is slow enough I don't think there has been enough testing to tell.

    Landmark is going to look pretty interesting once stuff you build stops poofing or getting healed over. I am starting to see some pretty impressive structures but most folks are not dropping anything other than the most basic crafting stations for fear of them being eaten by the servers.

    This happens to me once in a while. Its a reported bug. Relogging sometimes unsticks it as does leaving your claim and mining for a bit.     Actually from what I have seen they likely are still there just burried. I have helped undig three peoples crafting stations that could only be seen by a hint of smoke coming from the ground.

    I can't stress this enough. Focus on upgrading your mining pick at least to iron or the step above it before worrying about constructing pretty much anything building wise. Buildings require a lot of materials and the improved mining tools are SO much more efficient.

    Plus side of voxels most of the stuff that takes up a ton of the space for modern MMO is the art assets and with the voxel engine most of that is server side and not something you need to install on your system.
