As mentioned in my post, I really don't think this change is viable at all. 1 Map could last forever almost. Just look how long OT can be stretched already, which is to get just 1%... you could potentially have hour(s) long matches to get it to 100%... Tracer/D'Va rushes would make it hell.

To fix some of the OT horseshit, they should require heroes to be within the "touch" zone for 1-2 seconds before it counts. This would mean Tracer rushes basically stop since they can't just dash in + recall within milliseconds to reset the counter. D'Va rush still viable but not as bad as...

The casting between matches might be bad but in-game they do just fine imo and when watching newbie casters it is very apparent how much better the "pros" are. Deman is is a very good caster.

At rank 34 you just need to play offensive heroes and carry yourself. The lower ranks will have almost no team coordination and can be more easily carried by a single person. As skill levels rise you'll need to start relying on teammates. Same shit in League of Legends... lower ranks easily...

Consensus says your QP play MMR is taken into account to start you off in Competitive. He had to level to 25 first so probably got a high MMR winning most games already.
