If you design something that requires silence then you have bad design. I can't get behind anything that would require i put owl or spellbreaker in my deck. Sylvanas, ysera and tirion are some of the most powerful minions you would want to silence already and most classes can manage just fine...

    Hearthstone

Don't tell me what to do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wrong. Warrior never runs silence because they don't need it. Warlock runs owl in zoo and sometimes reno. But Warlock doesn't need silence in most decks, removal already too good. Rogue never runs silence, all of their class cards are removals...
  3. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Yup, there's plenty of "remove a minion without killing it" solutions already, and classes that don't have any could get class cards with Silence or a new type of removal affect if necessary, but honestly, look at the list already: Mage: Poly/Freeze Shaman: Hex Paladin: Humility/Aldor...

    Hearthstone

There will always be aggro decks and there will still be crazy damage combos. If the meta gets too slow then aggro decks shine. You still have Leeroy combos, Warriors can use the Frost Giant+Charge combo, other classes can put together big spell damage burst combos. Zoo will still...

    Hearthstone

Owl isn't run for the body. It's that most classes don't have any class cards with silence. Neutrals with silence shouldn't exist imo. Owl should be Hunter or Druid class card but they'd never change it now. Personally Druid makes more sense since they already have a silence minion, making...

    Hearthstone

I'm good with most of the changes. BGH going to 5 is kinda huge. Seeing 1 let alone 2 will yet to be seen. Almost every class has better removal than BGH now. BGH still limited by 7+ attack whereas class cards can normally kill any minion for the same cost (or cheaper). Molten change...

    Hearthstone

Keeper is fine. Druid have shit for efficient removal. Look at warrior with 4 one mana removals. Much better than a freaking silence. Owl is a 2 mana neutral that goes in every aggro deck to nullify taunts. Keeper is used for control and is balanced simply because druid have shit for...

    Hearthstone

The biggest problem I have when trying mid-range/control-hunter is that once they lose board it's basically over. Unleash with Mark or some +atk aura is basically your only clear. These hunter cards look fun and strong but I'm not seeing much of a way to regain board. That's why Hunter has...

    Hearthstone

the average is 1 legendary per 20 packs. And yea, big expansions always have a bunch of legends. Look how many we lose in GvG

    Hearthstone

Need Highmane on board first though. This card seems good with infest and of course Highmane/Sylvanas/any late game Deathrattle. But having a late game minion stick is always a challenge.

    Hearthstone

I would say every hero is an acquired taste. They all have a theme and have differences in how they're played. Feign death but with a body. 6/5 body on 5 mana is a very good body too. I like it a lot.

    Hearthstone

Not to be rude, but if I ever see a deck use Arcane Explosion I just know it's going to be a free win. It's horseshit. Arcane Missles is a better choice.
  13. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Seems bad. You don't often need a 1 damage AoE, you can already ping off 1 health shit. In Wild it's a little more useful but still not seeing it. Arcane Explosion isn't used already but if you did take it at least it has synergy with spell power / wyrm / antonidas / etc.

    Overwatch

At higher levels you rarely get 2 of the same hero on a team. New testers wont care about comp atm.
  15. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

that's the 2nd priest deathrattle card, so museum curator will pick it up a lot. I wouldn't mind getting it off curator in a control match
  16. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Mage card seems bad. Hitting Hero is useless in most cases, makes it too risky for little board presence.
  17. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

They just hooked you, now to drop $50 to get another 2 Legendaries
  18. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

The card is okay but not incredible. 4/2 in the 3 slot isn't great, there's already plenty of minions with that stat line that never see play. (Jungle Panther even has Stealth, and is a beast, and isn't played!) +1/+1 on minions in hand hasn't proven to be very powerful as we've seen already...

    Hearthstone

I like that Rogue card a lot. So many potentially great combos. Better than the Priest Legendary card imo. Adding to Hand is so much better than summoning to board, especially for Rogue. 1 mana makes it an easy Combo trigger, then the added effects on top.. awesome. Probably even OP in the...

    Hearthstone

Lots of 3 drops I would be happy with, imo the card is going to be super OP. The lists: S Tier:(Tons of Value) Fierce Monkey Felguard Flamewaker Injured Blademaster King Mukla A Tier:(Useful effect, synergy with Mage, gooder stats.) Arcane Golem Argent Horserider Brann Emperor...

    Hearthstone

Yea, which is what I suspect too, but the card is dog shit if that's the case. Looking at Grand Crusader and Lock and Load, they specify "Paladin Card" and "Hunter Card", so seems this card isn't "Mage Card" only. Garbage.
  22. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Really depends if the random spell can be from any class or is mage only. Most classes have shit spells before 6 mana, or they have buffs that can screw you over. Mage spells would mostly be positive for you .
  23. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Yea i was looking at shield block and hero power and taking a middle ground. Card draw is worth 1 or 1.5 depending who you ask. So it's under 3 mana for sure. Could be under 2. Hero power is always over costed and class cards usually have more value so kinda in middle somewhere
  24. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Shieldmaiden same stats/cost and give 5 armor which is worth just under 3 mana. This minion summons a 3 mana minion which will almost always be worth 3, and provides tempo. Seems really really strong, especially for a damn common. Worst cards to get would be like Magma Rager or Edwin/Druid of...

    Hearthstone

Definition of "crutch" ? It props you up when you're down, but you don't want to use it if you don't need to. Freeze mage doesn't need Emperor to win most games, but yes, Emp is there to help squeeze out wins that would otherwise be daunting. Renolocks don't all play the combo due to it...
  26. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Using Emperor is a crutch, you don't want to rely on him. You want the combo to have enough punch naturally. Emperor helps reduce the amount of cards necessary or allows you to overkill in the case of Warrior or heals/Reno. My point is, this new card only gives 5 extra damage (the 2 mana you...

    Hearthstone

I don't understand what you're trying to argue. Are we building a deck or talking about the viability of the deck? After some quick calculations I already concluded OTK priest is most likely still bad. Are you trying to argue otherwise? I'm confused.
  28. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Bruh, didn't i say without emp ticks? I like this deathwing card even if not used often. You likely don't want to pull too many minions anyway but getting 2 big dragons will be so much better than just 1. This and ysera or this and chillmaw are the 2 combos i look forward to. Problem...
  29. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

I meant OTK priest likely won't become a deck. The card still might see play as a utility option. Gives you ability to flamestrike turn 2 now instead of turn 4. I can see it as a 1-of for sure.
  30. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Could certainly see some OTK Priest coming with this. Might not work reliably, but worth trying. 10 Mana: 2x Flash Heal, 2x Mind Blast, 1x Hero Power = 22 damage / 24 damage with Justicar. 10 Mana: 2x Flash Heal, 2x Mind Blast, 2x Voodoo Doctor = 24 damage If you can get a Malygos or...

Item changes sound good. I hated buying Zhonya's already so making it cheaper for the effect is a great change. Buying it for the ap was a waste. I tried to avoid getting it most the time. Abyssal change doesn't even sound bad, seems like a buff

    Hearthstone

I screwed up, reading the card quickly on a phone i thought all spells you cast would cost health that turn. Now realize only 1 spell, whoops! Well still seems incredible to me since really i only ever want to combo with SS. By turn 7 it shouldn't be hard to have an SS in hand. Pulling Cho...

    Hearthstone

Spending health to kill a minion and also gain a minion on your side is valued much much differently. Flame imp would be like 2.5 health and the 2 damage would be about 2.5 health. But having that "free" spell could save you a lot of damage, too. It is situational for sure since enemy minion...

    Hearthstone

Someone is getting fired up. 8 health isn't a big deal for such a tempo swing, but of course you need to consider your opponents next play. I played a shitload of Handlock in classic and naxx and you find ways to live. Farseers, alex and jaraxxus were your clutch heals and a little help from...
  37. Ravishing

    Hearthstone

Yea SS is good enough. SS was a standard tech card in Handlock for the longest time, no reason it won't be a staple in more decks. SS is played in renolock already with a shit deathrattle meta. Also losing mal galnis doesn't make bane trash. Still situational but spending 5 health instead...

    Hearthstone

If this card was in mage it would be broken as hell because you could otk easily, but now in warlock it opens up some insane moves. SS might be a 2-of now. Bane of doom might see more play. Shadowflame is still awesome. And thing is you can play cho gull, bane, SS for 7 mana and 8 health...

Yogg looks fun as hell but probably terrible at the same time. By the text it sounds like he could pyroblast your own hero multiple times, unless there is some check in place that damage spells are only cast on enemies. Also random Doom or Twisting Nether would not be ideal (probably). Fun part...
