yeah I take the chucklefuck gargoyles seriously everytime and am not embarrassed at all when I die to them. In addition to their mini-me hitboxes, their moveset is very agile and vicious and they dodge more than most mobs in the game. They also hide in the most insidious of locations.

The only thing you're gimping yourself with is not upgrading your great sword. If you like the moveset you can keep upgrading virtually any weapon and it'll be perfectly fine until you get the ability to respec. All low-grade smithing stones can be farmed, so don't hoard them.

there's quite a few mini-quests that require you to swing at something with no guidance that it's the right choice. There's one that . It's a little obnoxious because you don't know if you're permanently failing the quest or just doing it.
