What I bet happened was people are receiving early samples and seeing issues. I guarantee were having a shitty launch because a lot of companies needed to rework boards
I on the other hand am an engineer. I'm not even sure how I passed my electrical engineering classes though
Also I was checking out a FTW3 but paypal took a dump. Not sure if it was a real card on newegg but I tried
I actually write firmware - but usually it's just some electrical engineer saying "do this" and we do. I learned all that stuff in school, but I'm just a monkey.
Reminds me of my father in law. We caught him loading up his tax forms and bank details into the fax machine to send to a scammer. Happens to plenty of otherwise normal people
As far as I can tell best buy has never had any real stock or bots completely took over that site.
Best bet today is to watch newegg and Amazon as it seems evga is expecting them to be in stock "soon"
The bots were still in full force but it makes no sense anyways. Why would you not a $700 card and resell for $1500 and just leave nvidia's stock of a better $1500 card. That's a bad business model. I guess sneaker heads are retarded though
Thinking on this a bit - the 3080 20GB has to be less performance than the 3090... so how good can it realistically be?
The 3090 is at best 15% better than the 3080
I dont believe you'll be able to make much, if any, profit on a 3090. Mass cancellations on reddit since reviews went up
AS IF NO ONE COULD READ BETWEEN THE LINES OF MAKING THE EMBARGO GO UNTIL TODAY
I know a bunch of people that were able to get 3090s from nvidia with the backdoor link. Way more people than got 3080's. I just don't see the demand for this card..
Genuine scalpers don't bother me. You do what you gotta do, I get it. The bots that instantly depleted supply day 1, those guys I wish would get shot in the face. Either by dicks or guns
