Yes that trend continues, most(maybe all) dungeons from heavensward on are just straight lines. In the last few xpacs even the pulls become predictable. 2 trash groups -> wall -> 2 trash groups -> wall -> boss. That cycle x3 is most dungeons.

Yeah I've had a few tank swaps on zodiark where I would taunt, and the other tank (usually a WAR, thanks to their insane aggro) would pull aggro back 5 seconds later and die because they still have the debuff on.

I only use macros for crafting. I tried them for combat, such as target 2, shirk, but it's too unreliable. I'd have to button mash the macro to make sure it went through. Found it easier to just F2 shirk. Even for stuff like announcing when you use superbolide, I had to put a delay in the macro...

Are trains just for fun/diversity of logistics? When I played last year I never got one operational because when I started building my first one I realised that they take up too much space, and then I also realised that its easier and faster to just use stacked conveyors.

Ahh you haven't yet reached the phase where you realise building on the ground blows, and instead build everything on raised platforms. That's when you really start having inventory issues when building a new factory requires 2 whole inventories worth of concrete.
