Gold is fairly easy to get in WoD so you wouldn't really need too much beyond 10k or so for garrison upgrades, and your mount/licenses. Anything else can be transferred over time.

pvp weapons SCALE to 710 in pvp, but they're naturally 620. 626 if they can become warforged. so they're basically the same as an heirloom but scale up to 710 when you enter a BG/Arena/Ashran

pvp gear is pretty easy to get, i was just running around ashran doing quick bonus objectives.. they give anywhere from 250-600 honor and only take 5 or so minutes. It's pretty silly lol bgs have a high chance of giving pvp gear as a reward too easy way to get your ilevel up~
