Yeah, I saw a few builds using Vinktar. 94% of HoWA Occultists are using Dying Sun, 58% are using Wise Oak, 38% are using Vinktar :confused: I'm not really a fan of Vinktar since its charge usage is incongruous with all other flasks.

Delve and scrubbing guardian maps from your atlas sure makes sustaining an eldered map quite easy. Unless you like to do Uber Elder, I don't see a financial/farming/mapping/whatever reason to do the encounter. Those guardian maps throw quite a big wrench in any sustain plans.

Azurite quickly goes from need to meh. Just get the nodes on the way down and start delving into the side areas when your resistance doesn't suck.

Delve as far down as your build can handle or fossil run shallow nodes. Don't go horizontal in the middle.

How do ignites from different source work? If I support my Warchief totem with Combustion, am I going to reliably get the fire penetration? Or will ignites from my attacks overwrite the totem's?

I'm giving Tectonic Slam another try(dissatisfied with CoC trigger skills) and I'm trying to figure out why it's so common for people to support their main skill with Combustion instead Ancestral Warchief.

It can be fun but also frustrating. Having to rip start your flicker with a bleed is fucking annoying to almost deadly. Out the main ways to trigger CoC, none of them are satisfying overall and have glaring flaws. I'd probably go with blade flurry is there was a more screen clearing method.

Question about Glacial Cascade: how reliable is it for the target to be hit 3 times? Or is 2 the max anyway? I'm doing a flicker strike CoC and I'm thinking being in melee range might limit it to two hits per cast.

No, the correct answer is both. You play your celestial herald with your celestial armor set and your automaton herald with something else. I've found it matches the new Pitfighter armor set quite well. Last year's Redeemer was good too.

It is not in the game anymore. Sextant limit on the atlas pretty much prevents you from being able block effectively. Just roll over bad ones if you really want to.
