The only thing I didn't like was the clothes rope, those knots would barely hold their own weight let allow 200+ pound dudes, you could even see the real rope in the clothes most of the time. They should have just had them bring real rope from the start, that whole thing would be scary enough...

I second Pathfinders, lots of free module out there and a ton of flexibility. That or New World of Darkness (NWoD) if you don't like keeping track of who rolls D6 vs D10 etc.

Trying really hard to stay interested and throw support at XP increase but the elitist assholes are making that tough going.

Most Devs won't do smart loot because that carrot won't last as long. Trash random loot, boss=everyone gets an upgrade.

Fair enough, maybe make rolls on a curve so if you have more cloth on when something dies and a cloth item drops you roll higher/need it. Loot drops are lame anyhow, badge/point system preferred.

Why not just attach skills to gear, the longer you use it or whatever the stronger it gets or unlocks better skills/spells. FF IX did this, made gear very meaningful. Put magic spells on robes, tank stuff on shields etc but don't limit who can use what so if you have a wizard hat and a cleric...

Never played this enough to do all the cool stuff, may give this a go as Mid Healer(shaman) if not enough peeps to group with.

Play in hardcore and just one shot everyone to unlock DMRs like most people do, can snipe with them and you will win all medium to long range battles against any automatic weapon.
