A lot of people like Red Mage, as it feels more mobile than Black Mage

    Greenland (2020)

How the fuck do you do a sequel outside of living in a vault or watching people die as food runs out and they can’t grow more naturally? The impact size was a civilization ender and it hit Europe square on. Only way people live long term is some vault tec level shit

    Indiana Jones 5 (2020)

HBO used to played Temple constantly, so I’ve probably watched that more than any other IJ flick I would say out of the 3, it is the one that probably appeals most to kids, which may be why a lot of us which grew up watching it remember it fondly. You’ve got Data from Goonies, bugs, dudes...

    Starfield - Fallout fallout that isn't ES6

Regime: shits on FO76, refuses to play themselves and probably just watches a streamer who misses 90% of the lore to form an opinion lol Fallout first is: scrap box (unlimited scrap storage), survival tent (mobile base you can pop), 1500 atoms a month, and once a month some exclusive...

Even if you skip ARR story, you still need to watch the 2.4 and onward cutscenes at that table in the inn vs just watching a cliff notes recap. You’ll lose a lot of the impact otherwise and be confused as fuck starting HW

    Starfield - Fallout fallout that isn't ES6

Most of the people hating it either only played release or watched some clickbait “Yong Yea needs a new car, gimme ad dollars” FO76 hate videos and assumed the game was that

    Star Trek: Picard

Fuck I don’t want to watch, but that Q and Picard interaction hits all the right nostalgia buttons. Damn you, Kurtzman!!!!

Regime have you played fo76 yet?

That issue is diluted by unlocking dungeons. There is a massive cluster of level 50 dungeons you can unlock, then the HW stuff. At lower levels, until you unlock more stuff, you’re going to have a smaller pool of roulette dungeons and as such, get low level stuff more often

    Back 4 Blood

I liked it, because it raises the stakes. When you get a god roll ranger or Templar , you sure as fuck second guess whether or not to risk the unit on a certain action
  12. Cybsled

    Back 4 Blood

I dunno why people are complaining about this. Gives you a progression carrot to follow and mixes up gameplay. Did you guys bitch about selecting talents on xcom operatives?

    The Astronomy Thread

Not directly. The video points out they just authorized the 10B, not actually gave the 10B. They're basically forcing NASA to pick a 2nd lander and haven't actually given them the money yet.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

They are pretty good about tying back to earlier plot points. I had watched a streamer play through MSQ for first time and they picked up on certain elements of the crystal tower and they made some theorycrafting predictions, then it paid off many expansions later and they were blown away that...

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Pretty much. It was a product of its time. If you watch TNG season 1 vs. season 5 - 7, you notice a massive difference. Same here.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Level and story skips are different. Skipping levels still throttles your progress based on story. Yes, ARR is a slog and even vets of the game agree they -really- need to trim a lot more of the tedium from ARR. It is a hard sell to say "play this game for 30 hours and then it gets good". I...

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

As my prior point, minority opinion. Ignore that shit. Why the fuck would you skip 10 years of content just to run shit like HoH or Bozja for 6 months until next xpac? Are you a Blizzard employee in disguise? Lol As for what you need to buy, if you have never played, you can place base game...

What? This opinion is a minority opinion. This game is 100% journey, not destination

    Sweet Tooth

Watched the whole thing: starts slow, but around episode 4 or so I started to get more into it and eventually you get to see how all the sub stories connect. I would definitely like to see a 2nd season

    Back 4 Blood

If you played FO76, think perk cards If you haven’t, it’s basically a talent system
  23. Cybsled

    Back 4 Blood

Strategy element that you grind does give the game more legs, though. Especially if you run harder versions of the non-PVP parts. Left4Dead the strategy was usually "run really fucking fast so all the infected spawns get messed up and you just yolo past 80% of the map"

Depends. Did you unlock your retainers? They're banks also and you can use them to sell shit on the market board. You also have your chocobo saddlebag after you unlocked your choco mount. It is additional bag space.

    Starfield - Fallout fallout that isn't ES6

Yes, 76 is same engine. They’ve upgraded and enhanced it as they go, but the foundation and skeleton is still the same. With that in mind, I’m curious how they will handle space shit

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

Don’t dive deep into that list. Thar be spoilers. ARR has a ton of hard mode dungeons that aren’t MSQ required, but still good to unlock. The ending scene for Tara Tam deepcroft Hard and the Tonberry hard dungeons are awesome/hilarious Keeping it very vague, you’ll know you’re close to HW...

You can ignore the old relic quests unless you like the looks. You're going to outlevel that shit almost instantly anyways. Remember that Mordona has all the augmented magitek weapons/armor you can buy for Poetics once you hit 50. Can give you a decent ilevel boost. Same holds true for HW...

They're still updating it. They added actual NPCs and regular Fallout questing gameplay over a year ago. Expeditions (The Pitt) are brand new expansion maps you can visit. Think stuff like Far Harbor, Nuka World, the FO3 DLCs.
