If you want to stretch your play time the old hunter way from basic armor progression, it's probably a good time because there are tons of players to cart with at lower levels right now. I would use defender if solo, I feel it's too much pain to endure.

Mhw is great atm on steam, lots of players to join the fight with. I started a new character and hope mhw will tie me till dragon's dogma 2. So far it's been a great 1.5 weeks!

A fully upgraded puppet string suddenly turns this into monster hunter and makes any boss easier to KO. Especially fun with big slow weapons.

Alot of small boss, mini boss, big boss, two phase boss but the world is pretty linear from what I see. Def a challenge but satisfying to progress and many body and weapon parts to cater to your style.

Oh boy those two phase boss fights are omg /vomitBlood Fuccck that mini boss clown too!

I don't mind starting from scratch but remembered that the Johnny story gameplay was abit of a drag.

Early game weapon mix feels like old school rpg with wooden stick+2. But main thing is to use a handle and stick to a specific scaling, ie str/motivity. Then there needs to be some point in end and capacity because you become overweight very suddenly early into the game. Used the greatsword...
