Looks like they decided to not activate the +1 totem mod as it was deemed to powerful. Kinda shitty as I rolled heiro figuring I could eventually get it, why even take the second totem away from heirop then?

You can also throw in lightning spire trap. Brands also mean you can use stuff like onslaught on kill for clear.

Not as hierophant; you usually go MoM and that shield gives you blood magic which sets your mana to 0. It's mostly for AW totems.

It does look like the +1 totem mod is going to be rare; I've been live searching it all yesterday/today and haven't had a hit. It costs 1 ex to get it crafted on a shield according to the datamine info. uberelite has been playing storm brand and yeah, it's basically the same tree as a totem...

Going Arc totems as I saw some interesting theorycrafting with brands that will be easy to respec to if they end up being good. Arc totems/mines/traps are all pretty good regardless, just pick your poison imo.

Arc totems will be fine I think, there is that new +1 to max totems veiled mod coming to shields. Hiero being able to drop 2 totems at once may be a clear speed boost as you can frontload faster. Curious about Brands, might transition the totem character to them if they end up being good...

Yeah its pretty huge nerf to toxic rain(and explosive arrow being collateral damage). You could still maybe make it work with a +3 bow but yeah, as a starter it's kind bad now.

Going with Arc totems I guess, the +1 to totems on shields will make up for the change to Heirophant.

If Arc doesn't get gutted in the notes still leaning to Arc totems for a starter, played the shit out of minion builds in Delve so might want a break from that.

Yep, you want to pick up increased duration and AOE nodes from the tree. Basically it's a DoT build, the snare effect is also really nice for keeping shit off you(though looks like slow effects are getting a cap).
