Yeah a lot of stuff definitely need to be considered, its boring leveling up over and over and over again At least in D2 you could rush to hell really quickly, longest part was getting to level 20

I'd assume it would be similar to D2, the ladder would last 6 months or something, the game would have specific items that are only available in that ladder, once the 6 months are up the character turns to "non-ladder" status. All current characters would be considered non-ladder

You don't even need to back it up, on the "you died" screen it doesnt auto save until you accept it apparently. So just turning it off = you're not dead. kind of dumb, wish i rolled softcore now lol but oh well

So... turns out HC on Console is pretty much useless. I was doing ubers and got caught by zoltan, ended up dying. turned off my console and my character was still there, it doesnt immediately save lol

Add a Ladder system, remove the AH from the Ladder. If the ladder is 6 months, when those characters go non-ladder, then you can use the AH and shit with them. Boosh, problem solved.
