I spent a lot of my dust and made a decent Control Warrior. Very fun deck for me because it's so different. Wow long game though vrs the Druid I just played. I had 20 armor at one point and I dont even have Justicar legendary yet.
Also should say: Shaman is definitely strong, but for me it's not really Flamewreathed but rather how well fleshed out the deck can be. Great early game with Trogs, Totem Golems, Spirit claws and Tuskarrs. Plus all your regular totems, Synergy with Thunder Bluff Valiant and my personal...
I'm having fun with the game as a noob. I have a fair amount of cards now, got some legendary cards from packs I won and I crafted Ragnaros. I'm rank 9 and I've played a good bit of most of the classes. I'll see how high I can get with Shaman and then I can go back to learning the other...
Anyone have any thoughts on really game changing Legendary cards for either Warrior, Mage or Hunter? I guess throw Shaman in there too.
The ones that come to mind are... in no particular order:
Grommash
Bloodmage Thalnos (seems to be in so many decks)
Ragnaros the Fire Lord
Archmage Antonidas...
Thanks both of these are helpful. Yes playing Midrange Hunter, Dragon Warrior and sprinking in Mage and Shaman. Hunter I run into it a lot.
So as far as overextending and being greedy, where does mana effecient fall into that? Meaning I am trying to play with the goal of using all my mana...
I'm enjoying Hearthstone but signed up for Eternal now thanks for the heads up. Any estimate when it's due out?
Best way to earn more cards in Hearthstone is... Arena? I do my daily quests but is Arena better than ranked for earning cards?
EDIT: I can usually win at least 3 games or so.
Granted I am new still but wow I can not close people out with the Dragon Priest. Freaking brutal. Lost 5 more in a row til I ran into another Priest and killed him 30 - 0. Of the ones I lost I was winning until some game changing card like Reno or Alextrazza or Yogg. Had people at under 5...
Well I made it as high as 12 and then decided to try a Priest deck and lost 5 straight before finally beating a Warrior. I played Dragon Priest which is pretty fun.
Priest really only needs a couple of really good late game cards to compete I think. I did great until mid-late game when Call...
Call of the Wild really is good. Even if it got Flamestriked the next turn you still got great use out of it.
I found a cheaper Dragon Warrior deck and it's gotten me some wins but I'm only rank 14. Mine doesn't have Grommash or Ragnaros in it yet but I threw in Chromagus and Nefarian as...
For all the other newbs at this game: I started playing with a simple Midrange Hunter deck and it's much easier to get some wins. It's fairly cheap in terms of card costs: Call of the Wild is the most expensive. No crazy Legendaries.
Eloise's Karazhan Midrange Hunter - Hearthstone Decks...
I got 2x Jaraxxus and a King Crush.
I made a Midrange Hunter deck and it's 5 and 0 so far. Granted this is newbie levels still. Still it's good to get me to 15 and up hopefully.
What's the best way to sort through all the Hearthpwn decks to find a good performer. I've got a few good cards now and some dust to spend. I need to make some better decks but it's kinda overwhelming to pick one.
I just lost twice in a row to freaking Reno Jackson. Took them down to under 5 health and full heal, then they barely squeaked by with a win. Frustrating.
I have not decided if it's good or bad that the quests make you play other classes. I guess long run it's good.
I just started about a week ago. This site was helpful to me since they have cheap basic decks til you get some decent cards
Basic / Budget Hearthstone Deck Guides - Hearthstone Players
Wow 6k. Ok well it's something to work towards. I'll play my Mage and Warlock deck in the mean time. I did 2 of the 3 adventures and I'll run Karazhan next.
Any other good cheap decks I should have?
I've decided to pick 3 classes and see how I like them: Mage - Warrior - Warlock
I made a fairly good Zoolock deck: Sheng's Budget Standard Zoo Warlock | Mana Crystals
It wasn't very much dust and I had a good amount of the cards already. Plus I needed to make some regardless like Knife...
Thanks guys. I'll try ranked i guess. Looks like at least to 15 is a good thing to do. Although maybe I'll mix it up. In ranked even at my level the cards people are playing are nuts. Fortunately the players themselves seem pretty bad so I can get some wins.
Arena I really suck at...
Ok so I've played a bit now. All classes to 10. Did Arena a few times, did all of League on normal and the class challenges. All of Blackrock on normal and the class challenges. Bought about 15 decks of Standard and whatever that other one is Old Gods or something.
Also at level 20 in...
Nice thanks this is very helpful. I was wondering the best way to spend the $$. I don't mind paying for content I'm using I just was a bit overwhelmed with it all. I'll get all 3 and I guess start with either Blackrock or League of Explorers and do that for a while.
For class, is this game...
Total newb at this. Started yesterday and just now finished the starter "Beat all the classes" quest. So any tips on how to proceed, should I level up all the classes to 10, pick just one or two now and stick with them for a while ...
I've only played as the Mage still.
Is this all schools or just in my town, which is hyper focused on diversity and achievement gaps:
With students in the forefront, this year we begin with many new initiatives in place that are designed to continue our work closing the achievement (learning) gap. Here is an example of some of...
I'm looking for something new in a monitor myself. Mostly for work, with some gaming (Diablo, FPS maybe, random other games). I have a 26" DoubleSight from 2008. Wondering what to do to upgrade. Pair it with another 26", or is a 34" curved like this overkill? Worth it? Good for work...
I listen to a bunch of entrepreneur ones.
Entrepreneur on Fire, The Side Hustle Show, Smart Passive Income, Fizzle Show, My Wife Quit her Job, $100 MBA Show, Private Label Podcast, Freedom Fast Lane.
Thanks guys, very helpful. I was going to evolve them unless strongly advised not to. That's the point anyway right.
I have a spot where Charmanders spawn so I'll be heading there frequently to get him leveled. I only need 7 more candies for a Charmeleon. Then Charizard is only 100 looks...
My Squirtle rated well too, which is great but if he's only going to be replaced as I level not sure if I should spend the candy to upgrade him just yet.
Is that renaming Eevee thing not working anymore or did I screw up by not closing the app and restarting. I named it Rainer and evolved into a Flareon. I had done it once before and it worked... or was a fluke.
I've done a few screencapture lessons for different things using Jing and SnagIt. It's not too hard to do, takes a bit of time depending on how much editing and how in depth.
Some people have made a good amount of money doing really ultimate guides to popular apps. I'm thinking in...
Reddit clued me in to a great park about 20 minutes from me. Took my son there this morning. We caught a few Charmanders, beat a few gyms and he was happy. I'll have to go on my own to get some serious Poking done.
I need some new toys. I bought the Amazon Echo on Prime Day but it wont be here for another week yet. I also finally got some bluetooth earbuds for runs and pokemon go walks.
Anyone get anything good recently that they would recommend?
Reddit had a good amount of info on where to go in my area of Norther NJ. Including where to go for Charmanders and Squirtles. I'm looking forward to checking them all out but it's WAY too hot today. Maybe tonight.
