Hope The Orville will get renewed. The fact the season has been over for almost a month and not a peep doesn't seem to bode well. Either means they're waiting to see what other shows end up doing or they're trying to negotiate budget/costs.
FF7 was good, but I wasn't WTF over the moon for it. Like some posted here, it served as an introduction to the JRPG market for a large segment of the market that never played them on SNES (the fact they used to cost $70-80 on SNES didn't help lol), so it holds a big nostalgia factor.
Not...
During Vulak, half the melee would afk auto attack because he took like 30 minutes to DPS down. Sometimes one of the tanks/officers would snap aggro and have him face the melee. So many would die to riposte damage lol
I think the ending had to be the way it was because if it doesn’t get renewed, there is some closure, but if it does, it is open ended enough to continue the story.
Oh nice, that was going to kind of suck that they couldn't wear certain things like glasses. Nice to see they did some modifications.
I do see what they mean. With Miqote, for instance, some helms have specifically are modified to cover the ears and not just have ears poking through them exposed.
This forum playing D&D:
DM- you open the chest and find an enchanted dragon bone bow!
Player - dragon bone? What a shitty material
DM - The chest is now a mimic. It engulfs you and you die. No saving throws
Rail pass you have to get before you come to Japan, unless they changed it.
And ya, pocket WiFi is a must. They’ll deliver it to hotel and you can mail it back after you’re done
They’re already using technologies like this for censorship. Facebook/Instagram more or less confirmed they are using that tech to identify and ban/shadowban content rather than rely on human reviews
Doubt it. Your prime audience are going to be:
1) Nostalgia people
2) kids too young to have tried wow back in 2004/2005
3) people who are curious because they joined wow late
Once the novelty wears off, you’ll see a big crash in population. Nothing cures nostalgia faster than suddenly...
He wasn't drinking as part of the game at that part. He was drinking because he knew that was the wrong question to ask and it wasn't going to end well.
Heh RIP that thought. With the way the show ended, they seemed to expect a 4th season or some way to continue the story.
Sad to see it go and sad to see they couldn't give it an ending with more closure.
This is true. Dany has been pretty much 100% focused on one goal since season 1: Reclaim the Iron Throne. Tyrion made a good point: Girl walks into fire, gets free dragons and recruits all sorts of people, then you can't be surprised if she believes in destiny. I mean, all the dice rolled...
Well I’m glad you like it still. I got sick of it after we broke into the elemental planes in PoP. Good luck finding a developer willing to spend millions to update the graphics / engine of a 20 year old MMO for a small, but dedicated, group.
I'm guessing the weakness to the scoprions will be angle of fire. In the preview they show Euron looking up, so I am guessing Dany invents dive bombing with the sun behind her to blind anti-aircraft gunfire. They don't look like they can aim straight up
Kind of random, but I read something a while back about stool transplants helping cure some of these types of diseases by virtue of giving the person a healthy microbiome. It's had success with Crohn's Disease and I think they also had hopes for Celiacs Disease.
You could view it as a power play. Cersei knows she has the upper hand. Dany just has 1 dragon now, her fleet got fucked, and most of her army was wrecked. The scorpions are pretty damned effective, so she doesn't seem concerned about the dragon. Plus if she wants to -really- cement her...
Pretty clear what happens at this point
Dany has lost her entire core except Drogon and Grey Worm. She is going to be like "I've listened to you fucks and lost everything. I'm burning that mother fucker down". She isn't surviving this series and Jon is getting sat on the throne, where he...
That formula -WAS- replicated back in the day. People forget that pre-WoW, EQ1 was used as the model. FFXI? Hell levels, long voyages/travel times, virtually no soloing. Even shit like Camelot or AO or whatever. The Korean MMOs more or less ran with the same base design back then (and still...
Archeage is probably the closest we came to what Shadowbane tried to do, but unlike Shadowbane, it has a lot more content than "95% of our gameworld is empty fields".
Which makes sense, but it also dilutes how much input any one individual has. Which is fine, but you also want to balance that between the player's ego as well. So for example:
Month one of MMO: Town of Derp is attacked by orcs. They are hiring mercs to help defend the town. You are part...
For me, one of the strong suits of FFXIV is the main story quest. Heck, even for SWTOR it was a selling point.
When telling a story in a RPG, the best way to get player buy in is to make them part of the story. WoW started this long ago, but SWTOR and then FFXIV really took it to the next...
No, I'd prefer XP from quests. Removing that and rewards doesn't open up avenues of play, it just creates guided mob grinds and for the specific example you gave, there is actually 0 reason to do the quest since nothing (including mob spawns) seems to be tied to the quest itself, at which point...
It wouldn't have worked in the movie. Ignoring the various other changes that ruled that out (like Saruman dying), it would have fucked with the flow of the movie. ROTK was already clocking in at 3 hours. The only way to fit the shire in would have been to trim lots of other scenes, and even...
You guys clearly don't understand how this works. MK11 has microtranscations and skins to unlock, right?
You release some female skins later on that show more skin, people buy them up. EZ money. Even Blizzard has done that. Learn2Capitalism guys lol
I just don't see that being fun except for whoever is the politician. There is no "greater good" in a MMO unless you're slaved to a guild that requires all members funnel resources to a central repository. Good luck getting that kind of commitment outside of a top tier guild / one with a...
