Only if they are remembered outside of obscure trivia. Good example here:

This woman was basically the Martha Stuart/Rachel Ray/etc of her day, and it could be argued the first person to do that type of model of cooking entertainment + selling...
Where would they go with a FF10-3? Didnt they more or less resolve stuff with FF10-2? And by resolve, give people Yuna+Tidus fan service at the very end
You have a short memory - the very early 90s saw a massive “politically correct” movement. That in turn helped spawn the deluge of “politically incorrect”entertainment as a cultural backlash
He is referring to the idea of alpha wolves and alpha wolf behavior as originally told by old observations. Updated wolf studies and observations have debunked a lot of those old perceptions, but it still lingers

That wasn’t a character I was expecting at the end. Considering how little development he got outside a movie, they could do a lot of good stuff with that
Also poor Nurse Chapel - desperately wants that Vulcan D lol
It could also just come down to Edgar not showing signs of weakness. Think about what Butcher and Edgar both have in common? They aren't afraid of Homelander. I think this fascinates Homelander enough that he doesn't outright kill them. Don't forget that he didn't kill Stillwell until she...
Oak Trees are great, but fuck the cleanup. Not only do you have the leaves in the fall, but in the Spring you have to deal with these pollen string fuckers that clog your gutters and get all over the damned place
These fucking things even worm their way inside your car somehow through the...
Derelict Freighters aren't too bad - the biggest risk is freezing to death because the interior of the ships is basically cryogenic temps. Like Pysek mentioned, turn on heaters you find to counteract that, or make sure you have cold shielding to last longer.
Also, it is easier doing Derelicts...
There are two modes for flight. I think it defaults to "stuck", which feels like absolute dogshit that is unresponsive. If you flip it to the other option, the flying feels more arcade like and responds better to inputs
They've had the Creation Club stuff for some time now. However, I can't recall them limiting stuff like NexisMods in any of their single player titles for PC. They probably make more money of CC for consoles than PC, for obvious reasons.
Exactly. When Fallout76 was announced, I remember...
I thought the show might pull a "Stan is actually Vought", but he changed his appearance. But they showed young Stan back in the 80s, so I'm not so sure anymore.
I still think they might go for some angle like that, though.
Realistically it will be like NMS: Planet is basically 1 biome, there will be procedural generated POI (many of which will be recycled archtypes with slightly different layouts, sort of like how in Fallout alot of the caves/interiors for random POI were the sameish), some handcrafted stuff...
Logging is only hard because it takes a lot of xp to get to Wyrm/Ironwood and those trees are less common, so you’re stuck with shitty regular tree xp. I suspect they will smooth out the xp so more is front loaded. Who knows if it will be double. However, double refining xp is coming up. So...
I don’t have enough background in either to comment. I tried to play around with creation engine and was totally lost.
However my understanding is the core concepts in creation engine are approximately the same, so letting people with 15ish years of experience tinker with it might be more...
There are still some needs. From top of my head
1) Elite chests have a 25% chance to grant expertise boosts
2) Elite chests have 10% chance to drop umbral shards
3) Most elite chests got moved to discourage solo runs, or they added more NPCs
Lost Ark's real problem for cosmetics is they tied game critical stats to them. It isn't just "look cool/wacky", it is "want to talk to this NPC to get this skill point potion? Equip this pink bear hat with +20 charisma or get fucked"
Free/Cheap respecs is fine. All expensive respecs do is make players go online and lookup "best skills for (insert class here)". Free/Cheap respecs is good because it encourages players to experiment with builds.
Movie was bad, but I remember watching this all the time as a kid because it felt like they played it on HBO at least once per day lol
Vegans that literally would explode from eating meat was pretty funny, though
It actually is going to be pretty hilarious if this game ends up hitting on lots of things Star Citizen promised and it causes the last surviving whales to snap out of their delusions
Ya, the base/ship building looks fucking cool. My favorite parts of the more recent Fallouts was the base building, so glad they are going fullbore with this in Starfield.
Looks like 3 factions from the trailer: UCC, the space "Texans", and the Pirates. I'll be curious to see what the...
The PVP XP track they added is another way to earn really nice gear - most people run the PVP missions in GC to get XP because you can run 2 missions in sub-5 minutes (fastest in the game), which has resulted in a lot more world PVP because you earn even more XP if you kill people. The PVP XP...
This is interesting. It looks like they will be releasing the PVP part of OW2 as "early access" on October 4th and it will be free to play. I'm curious how the f2p model will end up shaking out - that makes me think that there won't be any free cosmetics anymore, outside of special events or...
One idea I had to both encourage town management and discourage "lol free money!" for the controlling company would to remove all funds automatically going into the company coffers. Instead, the money ends up in a town bank. The company in control can withdraw money from the town bank, but the...
I forget the name of that movie, but it was that pretentious film where the brother dies and the mother is "WHYYY???" and it randomly cuts to follow some fucking dinosaurs before the asteroid hits.
That movie was award bait trash
I suspect the Ancient Rome/Egyptian zones will be the "big" content piece they will hope draw people back. Some additional things I would like to see
1) Wars are great content, but only a very small subset of the population actually gets to experience it (either due to RNG or because no one...
Season 3 is coming this August. That is a pretty fast turn around, which makes me think the rushed feel of S2 may have been the result something that impacted production
What is funny about your post is they have pretty much rolled back/changed everything you quoted as problems, which all but confirms those were major driving factors with players quitting the games
