South Karana treants was one of our spots we held for a while without getting discovered. The millers in WK were lesser known for a while until those got discovered. EK had some mobs. We'd also camp Cindreela as a solo wizard nailing her during her pet summon, that got discovered later too...

We would routinely find NPCs to try to kill and have to flee from before we'd find one that worked. There was no guide for this or anything in comments on Everlore etc. Ask any Darkenbane members from RZ of that era.

As an open pk guild on RZ we leveled at many strange places that are even empty on p99 There was no guide telling us to camp odd NPCs, we literally found them ourselves and to your point shared them within the guild

We explored all kinds of places in M&M without there being maps or given direction too. One of the devs followed us around and watched us do it.
