Really enjoying it so far. This is exactly the tone I was hoping for at the start, and I think I have a good idea where this is going. Contrary to what some above have said, I think this is going to be an insta rewatch to see all the clues I might have missed.

Acolyte Disney+ series will be based in the end of the High Republic era, but this so far is almost entirely publishing across all age groups for novels, and comics as well.

That's not totally accurate. The Acolyte series they announced for Disney+ occurs at the end of the High Republic era. I'm actually hopeful for this push, it smacks of the care and threads being interwoven that are very evident in the Mandalorian.

I've watched it half a dozen times since original air but not in the last few days. I would expect they would monkey with it if they had resources to throw at it. They did take the time to cut out jeans guy from episode 6 of this season even though I totally missed that on my first few viewings.

There's definitely a little plot hole. Once they had Grogu, Gideon's cruiser jumped to lightspeed and out of the system. Even if Luke went to Tython I don't see how he'd have any idea where to go next. But I've never been one to nitpick Star Wars, so didn't diminish the episode for me at all.

Lots of theory/speculation out there that Grogu is basically the anchor character to almost everything they have planned in the short term, even rumored stuff set hundreds of years after the OT.

Fennec is going to be in the Bad Batch series in some capacity, but that is immediately following Order 66 stuff, so well before this.

Pretty reputable sources with direct links to lucasfilm are saying otherwise. Looking more like the Boba Fett thing is a limited series (4-6 episodes and done) and Mandalorian keeps going and the focus switches to reclaiming Mandalore.
