Yeah the penultimate episode with the history of the manor was absolutely incredible and I'm not sure they could have put it earlier to make the entire season better. I really enjoyed this season but season 1 was overall much stronger.

This show is not very good, and I can see pretty much all its flaws. Despite that, I continue to binge it and I'm almost through season 2 having started watching season 1 about 9 days ago. It's got a certain something.

In the second to last ep of season 2 he takes off his human disguise and is clearly an alien, although I seem to recall they only show him from the back. In the first season they do a brief backstory on him and its loosely implied that he is from another planet.

I've watched season 1 three times through and it 100% tickles my pickle. I cannot believe it but season 2, especially after ep 6 and 7, is actually better than S1. Fucking awesome.

Season 2 started like gangbusters. Everything I liked about s1 taken to a slightly higher level. First few minutes before the title were perfect. I'm going to savor this one and not binge it.

This wasn't the series I would have hoped for, but as a positive it will leave open the strong possibility of more Ahsoka and Rex action, and keeps it in the era where we could see them incorporate the Dark Disciple storyline. Could even see some stories involving them helping the few surviving...

Beginning and ending are really solid. There is so much potential for continuation here, they barely scratched the surface of the mythology. Nice job not shooting their wad entirely with this one.
