EXP from Guard NPCs got a major nerf a long time ago. Had to be like 10+ years now. I think HHK guards may give normal exp though.

2000 was a good year with Deus Ex, Perfect Dark, Majoras Mask, and Kunark all dropping. That said, I think 1998 takes it because the roster of HQ games is so deep and a lot of them beat their 2000 release counterparts (OoT vs MM probably, RE2 vs RE Code Veronica etc)

I think what you describe is second only to a roleplaying Paladin who tries to cyber all the wood elf females in the guild. At least that’s the truest classic experience in my view.

I think a big issue it faced was the sort of players who play in those early eras. I would imagine even a FFA GDKP system now would be fine in Treasures because the people still there in TBS care about the guild and aren't there just to pocket some quick krono.

That’s the thing; two weeks is a ton of time to gear in classic. Hate has pickzones, fast respawns, and AoCs. Every tank and healer should be basically full planar because you can go to Hate or Fear with just a group and easily clear armor mobs. Half the bis gear pre dragons is just group gear too.

How are they wiping to Nagafen? Is it like a class composition issue? Numbers? I just don’t see how you wipe to scheduled dragon raids 2 weeks into the server.

What happens if you drop someone from raid mid fight? Does the name grey out for them? If dots are on a mob and you drop them from raid do the dots still tick? Does the dot tick damage count for the raid you were in when you cast it or you personally once you’re kicked? Just kind of spitballing...

What is long term? If we're talking the first 13% of the server life it's anyone's guess. If we're looking at the other 87% of the time the server exists I'd bet on TGR.
