I'd say 99% of the time people don't hold grudges for competition or guild drama after a few months. Some of the Truci guys I played with were really awesome like Ethiria and Rhaegar. Even playing TLP's since 2011 there are maybe 5-6 people from that whole time that I would oppose playing with.

There's been a precedent since the very beginning w/ Sleeper/Combine that you often need two progression servers to balance the population / server load. I think Ragefire tried to launch solo and had a massive queue to log in and (before pickzones) you'd have like 100 people in Lguk fighting...

DBG no longer runs EQ, the EQ team was split off to a subsidiary studio I believe called Darkpaw Games or DPG. Like two weeks after that happened Holly left DBG/DPG to work for Blizzardon WoW. Now Jchan, one of the former tech folks is filling the Holly role.

That’s actually the best part of P99, if you /petition an issue a GM actually shows up and deals with it. After playing on TLPs for 10 years it was crazy to see people enforcing rules.

Not all emu boxes are created equally. 90% of the time you make a character on an emu server unless it's like P99 you should assume next year that server won't exist. A select few are really high quality and worth playing though imo.

The next expansion had a boss that dropped an item w/ almost identical stats.

I think like 6-12 months ago they did a riposte nerf which they said was due to computation burden or something. Someone else here probably remembers it better than me though.
