Id say stick to msi or Asus for motherboards, they're proven and I've worked with msi before. I've also worked with Asrock and they had some problems with their bios code.

It's not as much of a problem as you think. I stopped tanking one day and that was it. Someone filled the role instantly and seemlessly. The real problem is you can never go back from that.
