Baldur's Gate 3 by Larian Games

I could see some confusion if they didn’t read the “fine print”. There are lots of games on Steam that are EA and are “complete” so to speak, so most of these people probably assumed this was the same

The main appeal of sub services is it is easier to cancel than cable and lugging a shitty box back to their office

    The Boys

I think the bigger thing is this is a major divergence from the comics. Billy was humanized a bit, so I find it hard to see him doing what he does later in the comics. Even Homelander to a degree was slightly humanized.

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

FF lull times are largely contingent on what you do. If you just raid, you’ll probably get tired between major patches. There is a good chunk of side content, like crafting, treasure maps, etc if you’re willing to delve into that

    First EverQuest, 3 screenshots

To a large degree, ya. Most fights were variations on that, with tank swaps to account for death touch bullshit. Later on there was a lot more LOS the AoE shit. Ventani the Warder was unique in that you pretty much had to do ranged only (I remember spamming shurikens that entire fight as a...

    The Boys

I think the only thing restraining Homelander there was Ryan. Homelander really did seem to care about what Ryan thought about him and the Planet Vought scene showed that he had some empathy for what Ryan was going through. Him killing Butcher and Maeve right in front of him would have...

Theater Chain Death Watch? Chapter 11s inc

Theaters making their money on concessions isn’t new. That has been the case since the early 20th century and why popcorn is the main theater treat (low cost allows for big markup)

They tried to make FD pulling more of a pain in the ass though, which forced us to exploit zone geometry to split mobs in some spots.

I got the impression it would be on stuff like the master recipes (1-3 star stuff)

    The Expanse

Ya, look at the boys thread. You lose all those theories and trying to figure out the plot trajectory when it all gets dumped and some insomniac spoils the entire season before you wake up that morning

MoP was my favorite expac because brewmaster tanks were gods. Self heals for 1M and ultra damage, good times

    The Expanse

Ya book 4 is a bottle episode book so to speak. In the show they also laid the ground work for books 5&6 in season 4, which are strongly regarded by fans. 5&6 have a lot of good story and character development as well

Another virtual one maybe. They also do still have the live letters, so they could beef those up as well.

There is also a level cap. You can technically get to level 5, but you only get abilities/stats/etc up to level 4. Game looks interesting, but I'm going to hold off until the game is fixed more/they add more content/they add monks ;)

    The Expanse

It worked for The Boys. The viewership skyrocketed. I am guessing they want to see if that rubs off on The Expanse as well.

Final Fantasy XIV (Guide in first post)

So live letter was this morning. -Main parts of the Tuesday patch are the new "Eureka" zone and Relic Skysteel tools/relic weapons part 2. They discussed the zone...anyone level 71-80 can use it, lower levels are boosted to 80 and everyone has gear ilevel adjusted to the same level...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019

Ya, Vehicle Royale is fun, especially if the squad actually gets anti-vehicle loadouts. I've only one one match of that...final circles were on farm. He basically stayed in houses and picked off stragglers/third partied people, then bought a replacement truck when the remaining trucks thinned...

    The Astronomy Thread

Honestly it would be better if they just left it there. Then thousands of years in the future, during some epic struggle for the fate of the solar system, the roadster comes barreling in and destroys the bridge of the enemy command ship, swinging the tide of battle.

Theater Chain Death Watch? Chapter 11s inc

I suspect the Mulan experiment didn't meet expectations. Reports are Bill&Ted made a respectable profit, but the budget for that film is estimated to have been only around 25 million, so they didn't have a massive bar to clear like Mulan did (which estimates around a 200 million budget). Fact...

    Raised by Wolves

Ya, within just a couple generations, there would be heavy inbreeding assuming all 6 children lived into adulthood and produced offspring of their own. You would have to go full Gattica and began to individually alter the genes of each child to avoid massive problems.

It is interesting he hasn't healed that burn tissue yet. Then again, we haven't seen many heroes take massive damage and heal through it beyond Stormfront insta healing the "laser my tits" scene, or Kimiko healing her sword stab wound. But ya, it is clear they are taking a different angle on...

    Star Trek: Picard

Programing in Trek always seemed odd. You never saw how they programmed. Like holodecks...it always seemed like they implied they wrote code, but wouldn't you want to craft it inside the confines of the holodeck?

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

They've done this for a long time, though. Warlocks had a talent in the destruction tree called 'holocaust' and that got changed. They've also censored or changed lots of the /funny and /flirts. Like the Troll "kill two dwarves" parody of "smoke two blunts" or female dranaei asking if gnomes...

Most of that was player driven submissions, though, and acquired through the old fashioned method of finding it, then sharing it. It's not like MMOChampion where they would data mine items from the game files and post a shitload of datamined images. Places like Allakahazam relied on actual...

My guess is the power isn't normal telekinesis. It probably works by increasing the pressure inside the skull to the point where it just pops. The bleeding nose makes me think it could be something along those lines....like a power where they can almost instantly make all the blood in the body...

Good point. Lucifer has a lot of back seasons, but the fact it is pulling in massive numbers definitely helps to explain why Netflix kept upping the episode orders. Boys and Cobra Kai both have 2 seasons each, so they are a more direct comparison. Although aren't the Cobra Kai episodes only...

    World of Warcraft: Current Year

Ya, WoW villain motivations have always been sort of shit. 90% of the time it's "person gets corrupted by Old Gods/Demons and becomes flat out evil", or they are just naturally evil That is one reason I like FFXIV's story. Outside of Zenos and Ashai (who are pretty much just 'let's be evil')...

I agree that the Church dude is a big suspect. The A-Train replacement dude getting gibbed was a decent clue, especially after he told A-Train and the Deep he was going to get them both back in The Seven. Of course, the big question is why is he protecting Vought? Is it because he wants to...

You can't go home again. It would never work in the modern era. Data miners, min-maxers, hackers would figure out shit ASAP. Plus the only loot we ever really cared about in EQ1 was eventually nerfed or removed from the game. Sure, we remember stuff like Guise of the Deceiver or Holgresh...
