I think the endgame is balanced toward stacking self buffe for str builds. All the vids i see with it have a multi buff process before doing huge dmg.

I wish i tried EMU Light - Enhanced Moveset Utility earlier. It's just a fancy ahk script. The only feature I'm using is dodge rolls without delay. I didn't look through the code but it seems faster than if i quickly tap the dodge key.

I think in the white dragon fight you're supposed to kill all the "dragons" around the white dragon without resting, which is non-trivial. Just sneaking up and hitting the white dragon in the ass is so intuitive I bet nearly everyone does it.

Agreed. Same with summons. If anything ER should have a "hard mode" where mobs only respawn a few times (or drop diminishing levels of runes to keep the world from feeling empty) and don't let players use NPC / Ashes summons.

It's just exploring a facet of the game, not the pinnacle of the game. ER speedrun vids would be more entertaining if ER was organized such that more of the game was required to beat it. Ex: having to get all the great runes and climb all the towers or something.
