I am still rocking a 690 and a 1440p monitor. With DX12 being what it is, Nvidia basically killed sli/crossfire by leaving it up to the devs to implement. To date, none have. So I may wait for the 1080ti big pascal chip and be done with it. Downsize to a MITX setup.

Yeah the H80i v2 comes with 2 fans and they are flowing the same direction. The loudest part of my system is always the aio cooler though. I can control the fan speed with corsair link. May try that too. But I'll have to keep an eye on the temps and see.

The 4's screen is the old small one. They went bigger with the 5 (not much but very noticeable). The 5 has better internals too but on iOS 9 they both lag a bit. I'd fix the screen on the 5 or find at least a 5s on the cheap. The 4's screen was way too small.

Oh I definitely agree with you. For $300 bucks I'm taking the tb ssd all day. I was just answering the speed question. I think if I was building a small itx type build where space was a premium, then I'd consider the m.2 drives.

The difference is speed between those and regular SSDs is pretty big. They run on a pcie x4 bus essentially, so they have much higher bandwidth than sata 3.
