MSQ roulette, alliance raid roulette, and leveling roulette give the most daily xp. Normal raid is garbage for xp, don’t even bother for xp purposes.

Which is only a problem for some classes until later, when they get off GCD abilities you can weave between GCD.

The post-ARR/Pre-HW quests are a slog, but the post-ARR story has a pretty good ending once you manage to get through them.

Lots of people forget to talk to him after you do the role quest handin. You can go back to him later when you level other jobs to get the gear as well once you finish the role quests for them, or straight up get the gear if your second job is part of the same role quest.

Skipping stuff from prior xpac probably impacts your leveling ability. There are a fuckton of high xp roulettes that aren’t unlocked until you open up enough content (alliance raid roulette being the biggest non-MSQ standout), as well as various trials and dungeons that aren’t MSQ related.

Ya. If you have first timers on the run with you, you get over 500 poetics for completing it. I've been gearing up my dancer/gunbreaker in augmented shire gear doing that.

It's painful to sit through, but MSQ roulette gives shitloads of XP. If you're trying to rush leveling, it's hard to beat 1/3rd of your level for a 30-50 minute investment

Ya, the story in ShB is excellent. It starts off a little familiar, but quickly ramps up. I'm just about at the end (need to finish the 80 dungeon), but the lore bombs/story elements that have been revealed/hinted at are mind blown level.

If you care about story, don't skip. You lose so much context. Part of the impact in ShB is knowing the story of the past 3 expansions. If you skip all of that, you lose a lot of the impact. That being said, the story is a fairly decent "stand alone" in some respects, but character...

That stuff only came later for yellow gear over the life of the expansion, usually during the major content update patches. If white scrip follows the same pattern, then we'll see the offhand stuff next, followed by the accessories/belt, then some type of augment feature.
