This. The new weapons are shiny and new and fun looking, but they all blow because they can't roll 70%+ crit damage with a socket. There's one or two unique effects on some of it (fulminator comes to mind) that can be worth using in the right build, but otherwise legacy weapons are king for now.

It's fun, but holy fuck I think it took like 20 game resets to get him to spawn. Might be more worth it on higher torment/with a full party to farm legendaries.

The salvage from them is really big for crafting yea. All pieces are capped at 5% ias/50% CD outside legendary effects currently.

Some of the 2H have some nice effects, but their DPS rolls are all either broken or awful by design so they are unusable. Stuff like Schaefers Hammer for example has a big lightning nova type proc that does okay damage, but it rolls in the 1150-1250dps range so it's just salvage trash. New...

It's still early to know for sure, but initially it looks like legendary droprates are unaffected by mf/torment, or if they do benefit from it it isn't a large enough bonus to overcome being able to clear an entire act on normal in 1/10th the time of torment.

Whirlwind barb seems to work still. Wrath of the berserker is pretty heavily nerfed, but otherwise the build functions as normal it looks like.

Electric space cat wizard is fucking amazing. I like a lot of the mechanic choices they made with regards to last hitting and how inhibs work. Art style is neat. Not sure how to get more pets quite yet.
