Isn't Syrio a renowned fighter with a long history? Seems weird for a faceless man to be so well known. You could argue that a faceless man took Syrio's identity ala a doppleganger, but you could then make the same assumption about virtually any person include Cersei, Trant etc.

The combat in witcher1 was just ok. witcher2 was great. To me dark souls' combat at its core isn't that interesting, it's the well tuned, complex and polished mob/boss encounters and itemization that make the combat look better than it is.

There's no surprise, ps4 is a pretty clear winner at this point and product availability for consoles is notoriously bad. Everyone has been ready for the next-gen system for a few years now and people want to get their stuff asap.

Even if some publishers weren't willing to allow disabling of their online components in their current games in development Microsoft could still remove the global online requirement and get a lot of good will back. Same with the kinect. But I doubt they will.
