All of the things you listed are things legitimate players do constantly, they are in no way a good metric to use to identify RMT. Selling and carrying are not prohibited and people carry their friends all the time for free, or as others have pointed out, for being twitch subs or donors, etc...

They do care, and they do ban for selling runs/carries for real money. But he seems to think everyone who sells for real money is unintelligent, spams on the same b.net account they run on, and works out the details in game in various chats leaving an easy to follow trail of breadcrumbs.

They spam on throwaway or trial accounts that list the website you can buy the run from. There is no interaction in the game at all between the buyer and seller to coordinate the sale. It's all done on third party websites and then you just join the group as you normally would any other group...

Once the 8.1 leveling changes go live I'll probably start playing more again but even I have stopped doing much of anything. M+ was the only reason I was still actively playing but that became a hassle and a chore as well, especially this past week.

Decided to gear an alt finally, Im impatient so I bought a cheap +10 carry to help get my ilvl up quicker. All leather group. Wouldn't ya know it, an int trinket drops which I can't use (Playing a DH) and 380 warforged warglaives drop that the DH can't trade. What rotten luck.

All of what I listed is extremely useful in PvE but yes they suffer in PvE precisely because Blizzard won't give them good sustained DPS, because their burst + utility is broken in PvP. At least that's my take on why shaman generally suck in PvE. Elemental can actually do really well in M+...

So I'm in Mana Tombs for TW and the nexus terrors cast something called Curse of Impotence that reduces all magic damage you deal by 16k+. Which means all my spells do 1 damage.

8.1 is going to fix that. Yes they are putting a potion in the in-game store but they are also basically fully reverting all the experience changes they made in 7.3.5. Leveling should be fast again even without the pots.

But it's good that it's so slow for new and returning players so they get to know how to use the 1 new skill they get every 20 levels! The 8 buttons you'll be pressing at 120 would be too overwhelming otherwise!

I'm not sure why you think it would change any of that. The mechanics in these dungeons matter at every level beyond like 5. The mechanics you are talking about already exist, so if you can outgear and ignore it now, you would be able to outgear and ignore it in the scenarios you are talking...

Everything you just mentioned is dungeon running at its core when the dungeon is timed. All of those mini-games are already part of M+ when trying to push timers to get higher keys. You have to clear trash within a certain time, you have to kill bosses at good intervals, you have to interrupt...

I honestly would not be surprised if someone created a standalone dungeon runner based on Mythic+/GRift/Maps. So a game like WoW with a small, set amount of classes with MMORPG set ups but no leveling or overworld shit. Just dungeons.

They should NBA Jam that shit. Get a stacking fortified buff each time you finish a dungeon in time that resets each day. Give people an incentive to stay grouped and play together.

I like the system, just wish they would make it more like PoE maps where there were items you could buy/use to reroll keys and affixes. Would be a good gold sink to keep the economy in check as well.
