    Never had it with powdered sugar. The place I had chicken and waffles at had full breasts, next to 2 waffles with only butter and a drizzle of syrup,not drowning in syrup. The savory and crunchy of the chicken mixed that syrup of the airy waffle and butter was really damn good.
