I think the ending worked. It definitely was a wtf moment and hit me. Not every story is a happy ending, I think the reason I put this above Rush originally was the brutal ending and not some credit text talking about it.

I agree that this show would have been a massive failure on its own. I like they haven't made him a badass but he is mediocre at best.

The writers have done a pretty good job. The deep constantly killing things he tries to rescue was amazing. I'm not sure how they are going to handle butcher with all the changes. Black noir is who I'm really curious about. Season two has already been filming thank goodness

What a great fucking first season and much different than the comics in a way. It's going to be a hard wait for season 2. Casting was perfect. The writing is so good with changes I don't give a fuck as long as it's done well.

Loved it as far as homage, needed more lobster which is what the commercials were showing. The 20 seconds of lobster were awesome. Really sucks this isn't getting a sequel
