I think the reason you're seeing so many of these comic based shows "wear a skin" of another type of show (like a police procedural) is that each one is a specific calculated risk. They know they will have a built in audience of the comic's fans, but they also know they need to bring it...

SO at this point should I watch Arrow this week first to see how they get out of that situation then Flash? Or Flash and then Arrow and I'll be ok?

Yeah, I am VERY ready for us to be past needing flashbacks. We know who the characters are, no need for more backstory.

I saw the Hermes as the Garrick flash, You essentially have Aquaman and Wonder Woman in it. Also there's the Arrow, substitute Zeus for the big S, guy to the right of center for Bats, and far left guy for MM and you essentially have a Justice League.

Any episode with no Fish involvement gets a thumbs up in my book. We got nice plot development on the Penguin and Riddler fronts, and a decent amount of Gordon actually doing his job.

I'm pretty sure the Cisco version is a frontal cone AOE attack. He mentioned harmonics and such so glass shattering, person deafening, and probably a save v. noise or get disoriented. This was the first time I've seen Laurel appear in either show where she didn't grate on my nerves on one...

Just finished this with the wife. I really enjoyed it, don't get a lot of the vaginal sandstorm some people around here have about it. If it really did cost $100m for the season that might raise some concerns with me if I were Netflix. With that said, I'm looking forward to the other series...

I thought it was more that Wells can access the speed force but doesn't have the kind of active bond to it that Barry does. So he could store up speed force and use it, but eventually runs out. Once he did he realized he needed an actual speedster present in the world so he would be in close...

And basically even when he "fixed it" have certain minor changes still around, which only he would know about.... like the original canary back on Arrow.

I've said it before (possibly even in this thread), but I'd love Beetle/Booster series or movie. It could easily be DC's version of GotG (i.e. more lighthearted fare). But wait until they wrap Supernatural so you can get Ben Edlund writing it.
