The worst part is that you have to grind the fucking Niko missions AND deal with the long ass node scripted events. Add that to the additional 50-100 nodes that are dead ends and it gets really fucking grindy to get down that low.

If you really dig the lore then pick up some of the 40k anthology books. They are mostly on that epic scale; there is even one called Planetkill which is a whole book about stories where a planet is dying in different ways. Hell, some of the huge story lines have whole star systems exploding...

I said 'how fun some of the weapons were is irrelevant' as if that can save the rest of an unfun game. I played it and it was the least fun of the three for me. I said that side quests had better dialogue than the main quest which was bad throughout. Also, it may be the best COOP game ever but...

It doesn't matter how fun some of the weapons were. The story was a fucking drag outside of some of the side quests/characters and the enemies were so fucking tanky that it felt like you had to put a whole clip into a basic bitch. They really missed the mark with this one.
