I think they can make the playoffs. The NFC west is garbage right now and the Rams look like the best team. That being said you are going nowhere giving up 30 points a game if you do make it. Pretty early still hopefully they tighten up. The Seahawks could wake up mid season as well.

Its really a shame they changed their defense so much or they might be an NFC playoff contender.

Easily fixed by requiring all sports funds to be split equally among the conference or setting a cap. The cap can be money or a limited number of high star recruits. You could also do something like offer a limited number of scholarships. The worse the school is the more scholarships they are...

Right away no. But the more equitable it is the more likely other schools will be to win and then able to better recruit. So on and so forth.

What drives that lack of competition I wonder.

I guess if you dont care about parity. The cash in some of these conferences are being split unevenly to the better schools. Add in all this collusion and bribery just making it worse. I guess if you dont care about competition its fine.
