Yeah nwn2 was awesome, tried to go back and play it recently though and I didn't web make it to the first town. I think I just like making chars and imagining what they will become.

Started a new game with Synergies mod+high loot. Makes the game both a lot easier and a lot harder so I guess that is balanced. Easier because super high levels gems drop like +86 HP regen a sec and +900HP etc, but mobs hit like trucks and there is a ton of them. Trying Outlander and haven't...

Camerous: Try turning off steam overlay, then reinstall steam if that doesnt work. That is what fixed my issues.

Well sure enough reinstalling Steam fixed it... 6 hours of research and never once thought it could be steam.
