So last night with the loot changes I got a couple of upgrades for my ranger, finally. I got a blast grenade with 200% charges (the one that gives 700% ult) another of the same kind which does %125 dmg, which I chose to use. Then I got a spark beam that is 150% dmg which I also equipped as well...

Only things im not sure about yet are shit like physical dmg and force, like WTF are those and are they good on weapons? only certain weapons? What gives? Too much shit, we have elemental, acid, melee, blast, impact, force, physical? someone mentioned force is knock down power to basically...

Is there any difference between dificulties and drop rate? Ive seen some streamers just go into normal mode to farm these things.

It definitely had its charm back then. It introduced a ton of shit to the genre too, like instancing, I think it was the first to do instances. It also probably had the most complex and cool character modifications and upgrades ever done in a mmo.

This games biggest problem is still the gear and weapons, they just need way more shit to grind.

Why? its a good game. Probably the best feeling FPS on the market.

Its cool to go through story because you get exotics along the way that are still relevant today which you can always get from your collection tab at a relevant item level later on. Osiris, you can just run through main story and skip the weapon grind there. Warmind is cool story to run through...

Im not talking about dmg, but the support type inscriptions, like +ammo drop +supply drop +harvesting bonus Shit like that. I dont think I ever saw one of those stats above 40% on items

You can use any detonator once the mobs are primed by anything or anyone, including other javs primers. DMG type dont matter. Some guns can even prime too. So for example someone freezes a whole bunch of mobs, you can go in there and detonate all of them with your hulk smash or lightning coil...

Freeplay is where you will go to farm masterwork embers. Get a good harvesting build going and they will be dropping 3-4 per node. You need 25 to craft a masterwork item. And if you dismantle a masterwork item it only gives you one. Plus the freeplay chests, and the events are pretty cool.

Freeplay was great on friday, when they buffed the loot. Man Iwas coming home with like 5-6 masterworks every time. The next day, greens and blues, maybe a few purps.
