I have two rune pages, and I wanted one or two more and found out the rune page bundle is like 20$.what the fuck is that shit.

Good cash shops don't nickle and dime you, they provide stuff you don't need but really want. Bad cash shops nickle and dime you by making you pay for quality of life shit like hotbars and normal experience curves.

He said they've been updating the game with greater frequency than any current MMO. Which is pretty true now that Rift has fallen off.

From when I played the game, it's really no different from GW2 or WOW. The telegraph areas are so wide most of the time you just have to be basically facing in the right direction. You're almost always doing that anyway. It's not insane in any way possible.

Not sure if you're following the game, but Wildstar has everything you could possibly want (and more) if you loved vanilla WOW. Longer leveling curves, 40 man raids motivated by epeen armor weps. Quest based leveling. etc.

If you want Vanilla WOW, go play Wildstar.

From my perspective, even if I was a rabid fan of the franchise a decade and a half ago, it's been soured enough that a new game can only be looked at askance at this point. I'm probably reading this wrong, but it seems to me people are in love with the idea of 1999-2004 EQ and completely forgot...

I guess? I just can't get excited by MMORPG pre-reveal anymore. All the overhype of dynamic worlds and all the other bullshit we've seen from Rift through GW2 is just silly. I'll wait until I see the game played at a gaming convention before I get any tingly feelings.

    The Elder Scrolls Online

Yes that's GW2 in a nut shell. It's a well crafted world that was fun to play through once, even twice if you really enjoyed it. Once you hit 80 there really isn't anything to do unless you really love the game and want to do 100% completion. The game has no sub, so you can come back and do the...

I haven't seen this level of parsing of what devs have said in ages. Even the dearth of information we have now, tad is still parsing it like a motherfucker. Never stop guys. Never stop.

That's what I did. But with Tryn I can push towers faster over Rumble.

    The Elder Scrolls Online

Still wrong. The game launched with some issues if you were on one of the super over crowded servers. If you were on some of the smaller servers, you had no problems. The market was down on and off for a while which was a pain in the ass. But I didn't care about that much, but your mileage may...

Phasing is nothing more than a neat trick. It is not dynamic though. It's a scripted change.

You're not getting one, that whole market shifted towards dota/lol. End of Nations tried, couldn't put a product to market, and are now apparently making a moba.

All I have to say is your whole argument about GW2 is pretty stupid. And you look stupid saying it. GW2 is a good game, worth the box cost in my opinion.

    League Of Legends

I played one game Rumble and one game Darius last night. Fun champs. My first Rumble game was pretty shitty. We played against a 4 man team + a random and the 4 man team just roamed the map the whole game and I was alone top lane. We lost the game, but we should of won. I was 2-3 levels above...

You still have to play the game extensively to have the best gear. Anyway, this game offers zero content that requires the best gear.
  20. D

    The Elder Scrolls Online

That and there really isn't anything to do with the gear. It's not like there is some gated progression scheme. In WOW terms, it's like doing top tier raids in heroic dungeon gear and doing just fine.

    Guild Wars 2

The PVE in this game is fun casualness. They really did a good job of creating stuff to do that weren't dailies. The problem they ran into is that the game doesn't offer any really large goals. WVW is very very stagnant and very poorly designed. There are a million things they could do to...

    The Elder Scrolls Online

I think you're also missing the point that this game has zero progression except for your own personal sense of entitlement, there is zero content that requires better gear. At least to me, a pay to win cash shop is stuff like the games where you have to enchant something to +10 and each...

The only way this game can be considered P2W is if you thinking buying gold and then buying stuff on the auction house counts.

It's in a few random videos, it's really not worth digging up. It's like a half second and it doesn't look very impressive. It's very newbie zone ish.

To be fair, AOC was the only game in history to have a miracle patch. Plus the videos were good looking of the starter area. The rest of the game was shit though.

There are still far more grindy games than GW2 for gear. You haven't gotten anywhere near the enchant grinds people have to do for BiS.

So you found GW2 grindier than Lineage2, EQ, Aion, TERA, AOC ? I don't understand your point of view? Also, my casual play?

Wildstar Launch Thread - Server: Stormtalon | Faction: Dominion

I guess I have to keep saying this every once in a while that this game is going to be a modern vanilla WOW. If you are expecting anything different or exciting you're going to be fool. The only difference really is housing and their combat system. Even the combat system isn't completely...

He left because of other reasons from what I've heard, but I won't share what they were. Rift Expansion was pretty good if you still liked Rift at that point. The art was better, the world design was better, the rift stuff was better. I got tired of how they designed their class system...

Conversely, I spent some money to open open inventory slots and one or two banks slots across a few characters. I also bought gold just to upgrade my gear on the AH. After the cost of the box I think I spent like 20-30$ over a few months of play. Worked out well for me. Big spenders are the...
